Justin point of view

"Daddy, look at the hyena!"

"Look at the polar bear!"

"That fish is looking at me, Daddy!"

I grin as Zayn evidently enjoys the zoo. He holds my hand tightly as we roam around, looking at the different animals. About an hour into our little date with Alfredo, we decided we were going to eat lunch.

"I's never been here, Dada," Zayn says as he shoves a fry full of ketchup in his mouth.

I take a napkin and wipe the condiment off his face. "No? Do you like it, baby?"

He nods quickly. "Y-Yes! I wanna be a tiger! Grrrr!" He bend his fingers as claws.

My best friend chuckles at him as I pretend to be scared. "Oh no, mister tiger! Please don't eat me, my baby needs me!"

His face drops. "I-I's not a tiger, Daddy, I's no hurt you," he walks around the table. I smile when he sits on my lap and hugs me tightly. "I's wove 'ou, Dada," he whispers.

I kiss his head. "Oh thank god, I love you too, baby," I mumble.

"What animal do you want to see next, Zayn?" Fredo asks, poking his side.

Zee taps his chin in a thinking manor. "I wanna see da alligators, den I'd wanna go home and play wis gingy," he nods to clarify his answer.

I rub his side. "We can do that, baby,  you're probably tired now, huh?" He nods, leaning against me. "I know, you've been out in the sun all day and you've been walking around, my little peanut needs a nap."

I ended up carrying Zayn to the alligator exhibit and keeping him on my hip as he stares at them. He says some words that I cannot understand, but then whines. I assume that means he wants to go home so we start walking to my car.

"Daddy?" He grabs my arm as I buckle his seatbelt. "Does me have paci in here?"

I open the middle consul. "I think there's one in there, babe." I close his door and walk to my side.

He goes through it, taking out his emergency pacifier. "You's gonna cuddle with me, dada?" He mumbles, laying on his side in the chair.

"When we get home," I start the car, "of course I will."

"And kisses?"

"Mhm," I hum as I start to back out. "Go to sleep, little one."

Zayn shivered as the air conditioning blew on his skin, forming goosebumps. I reach over to turn it off. He mumbles something in his sleep and turns to his other side.

The drive home was silent. Zee slept the entire time I drove and even made me carry him into the house. I set him on the couch. "Dada," he grabs my shirt. "Me's wan' baf, den sleepy in you's shirt," he whines.

I smile down at him. "Okay," I agree. I then carried Zayn up the stairs to the bathroom. I set him on the toilet as I got everything ready. "Which shirt do you want me to get you?" I undress my baby.

"Dis one," he holds the hem of my shirt.

"I'm wearing this one," I laugh.

"So you's no where shirt when we sleepy. I's wike you's tummy," he slides his hands up and rubs my abs.

I stare down at him. He just rubs his fingers along my abdomen, humming softly as he does so. "You have to get into the tub, baby," I whisper.

"Dada too?"

I nod, continuing to stare down at him. "Yes, Dada too."

He pulls away from me, leaving my skin cold and tingly. "We's be quick. No toys, just washie," he nods to himself as he climbs in. I toss off my clothes, placing my shirt on the counter. I climb in the tub across from Zayn. He looks at me for a moment. "Maybe cuddles before washies," he moves between my legs.

I wrap my arms around him as he situates himself on my lap. "You're being such a cute baby today, I love it," I whisper before kissing his ear. He hums his reply, nuzzling his nose against my neck.

We stayed like this for a few more moments before I washed him up. I used a wash cloth to scrub his body as his eyes stayed droopy but stared at me. As soon as I had him dried and dressed, he was in bed making grabby hands for me.

"Daddy said you's gone cuddle with me," he whimpers.

I nod as I lift Ginger off the floor. "You know you have to work tomorrow, right? So does Daddy which means when I get home you better be in bed," I say as I climb in.

"I's called in sick," he mumbles.

"Hmm," I hum as I pull him against my chest. "Maybe I will too. Just so I can hold my baby oh-so-tight the entire day."
