"I can't let you," Alex says, "I should do it." I look at Alex and shake my head. Then I run out with him chasing me. I run to the cliff. I climb to the top as fast as I can before Alex does. I jump off. I die. Alex stands over my body and sobs as the world transforms to what it used to be. Alex carries my body into his house. His house where his mom is back and his family is normal again. He shows his mom my body. He tells her everything about our adventures. The mom takes me to the hospital. The hospital is normal now. I lay in a bed with tubes connected to me just like that first day. My mom is there too, with me. So she checks my pulse. "SHES ALIVE!" She screams. I smile at her as she hugs me. I see nurses walking in. A couple days later I was able to leave the hospital and live with my mom again. My life is normal again. Except for two things. Where is Rachel and my new friend Alex?
