"You will see." Alex replied. We stared at the world we used to live in for a while, until I asked, " what about everyone else that's here?" He told me, "the cure is in our old world, when we get it we bring it here and fix everything." I nod and stare at it again. It looked so beautiful to me. "Alex," I said, "When can we go?" He looked at me and said, "Soon." I never thought a 7 year old would be leading me to save the world. Alex walked off the cliff and into a random house. I followed him. We fell asleep there, and in the morning we packed everything we needed. We walked back to the cliff. We looked at it again. I smiled as I saw people walking on the sidewalks and cars driving. I looked at Alex. And we started to climb down. The climb was forever. "LIZA HELP!" Alex begs. I look to my side and see Alex hanging off by one rock. I push him back onto the rocks. We're almost there when we see a bunch of infected people on the cliff. We look up from the bottom of the cliff and see them at the top jumping off. We start to run to the real world. The infected people keep jumping off, killing themselves. We run as fast as we can to get the cure. I follow Alex into a lab where there are antidotes and papers. We search for the cure. Then, we find a paper that says, the cure is inside you. We wonder what that means until we find another paper that says, stop your heart to stop the infected. "That means a human sacrifice!" I say. "Not an infected one." Alex looks at me. I look at him. "I have to do it." I say.
