Chapter 15
Pregnancy-the act of carrying an unborn young one inside of you. Something I'm not totally sure if I'm ready for or not. Sure I'm excited but I'm shocked to say. I can't deal with this becoming a Luna and now the pressure of carrying the next heir of the alpha and this pack. I look at the pictures in my hand that Doctor Evans had given me when I went by her office to pick them up. It has been 2 days since I've found out about being pregnant and I think Ryan's starting to notice a change in my behavior but not smell. I have kept the pictures and information about the baby hidden in my pillow case. I ran a finger over the picture of the baby inside of me. There's a part of me that's super excited but the other part is there scared, shocked, and afraid of what could come of this. I put the paper work back as a sick feeling washed over me and I ran to the bathroom throwing up in the toilet. I put the picture down on the floor beside me.
"Essie?" I hear Ryan call and rush into the bathroom and Neal down beside me holding my hair as I throw up.
"baby are you ok?" he ask worried
"yeah I think I just got a little stomach bug." I say
"Ok we'll I have to go do a few quick pack things but I'll be back in a few to come check on you!"
As soon as Ryan left I ran back to the bathroom and threw up again! Moon goddess please giver the strength to tell Ryan please!
I went down to the kitchen and saw that Ashley was sitting at the table eating a apple while playing a game on her phone.
"Hey girl." She said as I came in and say down. "Want an apple." Ashley asked picking another up. I shook my head no and went for the doughnuts, grabbing three and got a big glass of orange juice while snatching up the bowl of cereal To-go pack on the counter.
" uhhh.. Aren't you eating a bit to much?" Ashley said with wife eyes staring at all my food.
"No. Why would you that." I said very rushed " I mean I'm just hungrier." She raised her rubrics at my comment.
I scarfed down the all the food and went I go grab for another doubt but a hand came out in front of me and pushed backwards to make me sit in the chair.
" you need to chill with the food girl. What is with you?" Ashley said curiously.
" nothing I'm just hungry!" I said raising my tone a little. It had to be the cravings and hormones. Ashley raised her eyebrows at my tone towards her and I wouldn't blame her. I mean I was acting a little out of the normal. Ashley squinted her eyes in a knowingly manner.
" are you... You know.."
"What?" I said and I shouldn't have because Ashley lifted her legs up in the air a little and began making moaning sounds and screams like acing out a woman giving birth.
" no! Now way! I am not.... Prego!" I said saying the last part in a hushed voice.
She squinted her eyes and pointed her finger at me shaking it.
"Ima get to the bottom of this missy." I looked at her as if she was some sort of a psycho and she'll walked out of the kitchen taking a huge vote of her apple and narrowing her eyes at me.
I have got to be more careful...
*later that day*
"Hey babe!" Ryan says coming up behind me as I swing outside on the porch!
"Hey!" I say back giving him a light peck on the lips.
"Sorry for taking so long we have gotten a little busy with treaty's and all!Are you feeling any better? Do you want to go see the pack doctor?" Ryan says taking my hands into his
"No, no! I'm fine it's probably just something I had ate the night before!" I said and we sat there a few minutes in complete silence listening to the birds chirp as my head lay rested on his shoulder.
"Ryan?" I say breaking the silence and sit back up looking at him
"Yeah?"
"So I was wondering what do you feel about us ha---" I don't get to finish because one of our fighters come out to grab Ryan about some so called 'urgent' business.Ryan tells the man he'll be there in just a second and the fighter leaves satisfied with Ryan's answer.
"Sorry Essie we'll finish this later right! Ok?"
"Yeah.later.." I say as Ryan kisses my forehead and leaves. The once time I get the guys to tell him someone has to interrupt.

It's been hours since I've last seen Ryan or any major important pack member. It's currently 11:30 at night and I'm laying down in the bed about to fall asleep when I hear the bedroom door open. I breathe in deep and let Ryan's smell the green forest mint and honey suckle fill my nostrils.i smile at the thought of him.
"Essie?" I hear Ryan whisper "you awake?"
"Yeah" I say back lightly
"Did I wake you?"
"Nope."
"Ok we'll I'm gonna go take a shower so don't wait up you just go to sleep. I'll be in bed in a minute."
"Essie.." I hear a few minute later and the bathroom door opens with Ryan standing there in his boxers shirtless.he looking down liking confused as he holds something in his hand.
"What in the hell are theses!?!"
