Chapter 6 Part 1 "Breaking the News"
Today was Wednesday the day that Ryan and I break the news to our family's.I was sitting in the car going down the Watson's long driveway.I looked out the window fidgeting with my fingers as I saw Ryan's house come into view.A sudden halt of the car and someone shaking my shoulder snapped me out f my daze.
"Essie,Essie!" my brother landon said
"what?"I ask
"were here"he says
"oh OK."
"honey are you OK?"my mom ask turning around in the passenger seat
"yeah,im just a little tired" I lie.
"OK then lets get out of the car."
As we climb out of the car I saw all the Watson's standing on the front porch.When my eyes met Ryan's i forgot about all my troubles.He gave me a small smile as I did the same..we walked up the porch and headed into the house.but before i could enter through the doorway Ryan grabbed my arm and shut the door behind the others.I turned to face him.
"Are you ready?"he ask
"yeah..you?"
"if you are.I love you no matter what they say."
"I love you soo much Ryan."i say and bury my head into his neck.
"I know.'he wisphers into my ear.
we pull apart and walk into the house.As we enter the dining room every is just getting seated.After everybody is seated we all start to eat..moments later Ryan lightly kicks my leg to warn me hes about to make the announcement.I Nod my head slightly.I look around the table and see everyone laughing and joking around.Ryan stood up and cleared his throat.when he got everybody attention he looked at me before he started talking.
"I have some news for you all."ryan started
"well."Mr.Watson asked."what is it son?"
"Ive found my mate.''when Ryan finished the word mate.everyone started cheering and congratulating him.after all of that settled down the on question that came up to the moment to reveal the answer mine and Ryan's questions.
"well ryan who is she?"Mrs.Waston asked
"it is a she,is it?"Landon asked jokingly and squinted his eyes while leaning over the table.My dad slapped him upside the head and they chuckled.
"well HER name is Essie...Essie Jackson."said ryan putting enphise on her.
At that Tyler spit his drink out spewing it everywhere.seeing as I was sitting in front of him it went all over me.The rest Ryan and I's family was to shocked to do or say anything.they sat there with there jaws wide open.
"well...i wasn't expecting that."my dad said breaking the silence.
