Hey! Yeah. It's me, Kimberly. Kimberly Macon from high school. I was that weird, awkward creep that was in every club at the school; Key club, Beta club, FCA, Ambassadors, Mock Trial, Yearbook, and what ever other club comes to your mind I've probably been a part of it. Oh Yeah! And You probably seen me strutting the halls of the trash of a high school with the best thing that has ever happened to me. That's right, Mr. Maxwell Walden. One of the nerdiest guys in school. Ha! That isn't a bad thing. That's actually one of the many things I love about him. But, I didn't just randomly choose Max out of the swamp of "amazing" high school guys, I've known him for a while. Like, since I was seven. And this is how it all started.

Going back to when I was so young I almost can't remember, I attended the best elementary school to ever exist: Lancaster Elementary School. This school was my safe haven. I loved this place, more than home, ironically. I remember the days my mom would come to check me out of class, for a very valid reason, and I would literally scream, cry, and fight her as she tried to drag me out of the office. I was obsessed, and I mean obsessed, with school. I mean what kid isn't?! School was easy. There was no thinking to it for me. Good grades just kind of came easy for me. They even placed me in this gifted program because the other classes were too easy for me.

At Lancaster, I had two best friends and we did everything together. It was always the three of us: Lilly, Emma, and Kimberly. Without Lily and Emma, I was a shy girl that often kept to herself. I was always afraid of what others would think of me. I wanted everyone to like me, even if I didn't like them. I mean who couldn't like me?? I'm Kimberly Macon. But on a different note, me and my best friends thought we were the shits of Lancaster Elementary. I mean someone, honestly, should have knocked us off our high horse. I felt as if I was a completely different person with them. I wasn't shy nor introverted. I was on top of the world! And I was honestly a five-year-old bitch. But it's fine. It's not like I'm like that now, hahaha psshhh... okay maybe. But sometimes I have to be! so its only fair. ((:

Whatever, I was always better friends with Lilly than with Emma. Lil and I just clicked and we didn't have to force anything. There was a day that Emma got mad at us and she didn't walk with us on the way back to the gym. Whenever we would walk together we always locked arms with each other to display how amazing our five year old friendship was. But on that day, Emma did something that triggered both me and Lilly. Can you guess what she did? SHE LOCKED ARMS WITH SOMEONE ELSE!?! What kind of best friend is she?! Do you see me going around just locking arms with every person I see?? No! Because it was our thing, and no one else did it, and we never did it with anyone else.  Ahh elementary school drama. If only it stayed so simple. Spoiler Alert: It doesn't.

After two years at my safe haven, our school system just had the brightest idea (which is sarcasm, if you couldn't tell). They built a new school which was ginormous (well at the time it seemed huge. I was like 2'7" so everything was bigger than me). However, I was not happy about this at all. Because of this new school, that means they had to rezone all the kids in our county. And just my luck, I got rezoned and could no longer attend Lancaster.  This broke my tiny, little heart, because it meant I had to start over and meet new people. Because of this, I became even more introverted than I already was. How was I supposed to know what to expect when I was already so comfortable at Lancaster? Welp, goodbye Lancaster, hello North Stone Elementary.
