It was summer and you and your siblings were staying in Colorado for a week. There was a lake by where you were staying and you all decided to go swimming. Riker went out with Rydel, Rocky, and Ross leaving you with Ryland. He was sitting on the shore with his toes in the water watching you. You were just in the shallow part of the lake. You could feel the bottom under your toes. You were just walking along when suddenly a wave appeared out of no where and you lost your footing. You fell off the edge that you'd been standing on flailing in the water. You could here your siblings yelling, but it sounded muddled and far away. Your lungs burned from the water you inhaled and the used oxygen in them. You felt yourself starting to pass out when you were lifted out of the water and carried to shore.

"What happened?" Rydel screamed as you coughed up water.

"She fell off the edge of the boat whatever that thing is called!" Ryland said patting your back. Rocky wrapped a towel around you as you shivered.

"Is she going to be okay?" Ross asked.

"(Y/N)? Can you hear me?" Riker asked, worriedly. He knelt in front of you. "Are you going to be okay?"

You nod. "Wanna go home."

"Of course baby sis." Rocky said rubbing your back. You sobbed and hugged Ryland tightly. He held you just as tightly, thanking anyone you were okay.

"I love you." he whispered.

"Love you too." you croaked hoarsely.

They took you home and you spent the rest of the day curled in blankets being catered on hand and foot as you cuddled with Rocky and Ryland.

Another great prompt from Secretly_R5_BF. I based this story on something that actually happened. I actually did fall off a boat dock when I wasn't able to swim and my mom had to save me. One of the scariest moments of my life. But I hope you enjoyed it. ~Jett
