Un-Sweet Sixteen

(Age: 16)

You were having your sweet sixteen party two weeks after your actual birthday. Not only because your siblings the famous R5 had been away on tour until today, but also because you'd wanted to drive yourself to your party. You had gotten your license last week and had asked your parent's permission to drive to the airport to pick up your siblings. They had hesitantly agreed, knowing you were quite the responsible driver. 

So finally the day arrived and your headed off to LAX. You could feel your heart pounding in your chest in nervous excitement. Everything was going great until a light just outside of the freeway. Your light turned green and you looked before starting to drive. But the driver who was coming the other way had other plans. They ran the red light just as you started to move and hit you head on. Everything seemed to move in slow motion as you felt the car spin to face the wrong way. Then the air bag deployed and everything went dark.

You woke up a while later. You could hear people talking and recognized your family's voices so you remained quiet.

"Why was she driving along?" Riker asked.

"She got her license last week Riker. She wanted to surprise you guys." You heard your mom say.

"Plus it wasn't her fault. The other driver ran a red light." That was your dad.

"I just hope she wakes up soon." you heard Rocky's voice and the sound of movement. You felt a calloused hand on your arm. You couldn't take it anymore and opened your eyes.

"I'm okay." you told him in a scratchy voice.

"(Y/N)!" he said happily. He had tears in his eyes which was a rare occurrence for your Rockstar. " You're okay."

"Of course I'm okay Rockstar. I'm sorry I wasn't there to pick you up." you said.

He laughed. "I'm just glad your okay."

Secretly_R5_BF had so many amazing ideas. I wish I'd been able to get to them sooner.

QOTC: Do you have any pets?

AOTC: Yes. I have two dogs named Jack and Rooney. And two sugar gliders named Draco and Zeus. As well as about 14 tadpoles. Named Tad, Taddington, George, Fred, Harry, Dave, Bob, Jean, Clyde, Bill, Phillip, Polly, Andi, and Cynthia.
