It was warm, windy evening and Finnick was sitting on a rock right next to the sea and looking in to the beautiful, orange sunset which was glowing lightly in the dark sky.

It was district 4 and Finnick just hoped this wasn't his last day sitting hare and waiting for fish to jump in to his nets.

Tomorrow was the reaping which was the most unwanted time of the year. Finnick was just 14. Already two years he has had the chance to be chosen for the Hunger Games. No one has ever won at his age so he was afraid to be reaped.

His mom called him in to eat dinner. He went to his small house in the sea village.

His family wasn't big. He didn't have any brothers or sisters. Just his parents enjoying the warm weather and sitting by their table outside the house.

Finnick walked up to them with raw fish in his hands. It was almost dark so they went to eat inside the house where the lights from a weak lamp were glowing over a small table with tree chairs.
-I will cook the fish.- Finnick mumbled and went to the kitchen.

Finnicks family wasn't rich. Maybe because they lived in a poor district not like 1 and 2. District 4 was located at the side of all Panem next to the see. It had four villages. He lived in the smallest but the most needed village right next to the sea. Other villages had rivers in them but sea was the place were most of the fish came from.

They ate dinner quietly. No one had anything to say. It was already like ten o'clock and Finniks mom walked in to his room.
-How many times did you put your name in it?- She asked staring at the blank, white wall.
-Just twenty.- Finnick replied and fell asleep.

Finnick had nightmares. It had been like this already for a week or two. He had a really bad feeling about reaping. He knew something wouldn't go his way.
