The goodbyes

He was pulled in to a room. He had a few minutes to look around him. There was the girl Kendall standing next to him. Her small sister san crying in to the room and jumped in a hug with her.
-It's going to be okey, Annie. I will come back to you.- the girl whispered to her sister.

Finnick waited for his parents to come and say goodbye to him before he leaves maybe for ever.
They came in the room. His mom was crying and his dad just stood there silently.  He hugged them and peace makers pulled them away.

Peace makers took Annie away from Kendall. She started crying even more then she did before this.

They sat in the train to Capitol. It was a really beautiful view outside the window. It went true districts 9 and 10.

Finnicks mentor Mags told them the begging basics. They have to get sponsors and make friends from the Capitol and other districts.

When they had talked enough for that day and had some free time Finnick decided to go and practice making a net from small parts of a ribbon.

He knew he had to practice if he wanted to win these games. It will be hard especially because he wasn't trained for this even if he was from a career district it wasn't like being from districts one and two.

Kendall walked in to the room where Finnick was making his nets and sat across the table.
-Which district are you going to work with- she asked him while looking at his hands.
-Haven't met anyone yet. Can't say anything about any of the people chosen this year.- Finnick answered and stopped making the net. -Do you thing you can win?-
Kendall looked confused and was trying to find a correct answer to his qestion.
-Yes- she said quietly. -I can win to go back to my sister Annie. She is left home alone. We don't have parents and I don't know where is she staying.-
Finnick stared at the floor. All he wanted to know what will happen to his family and Kendalls sister.

Mags called them breaking the big silence to tell them that they will be there in 15. minutes.

Finnick looked and saw big houses and people looking true the windows to see him and Kendall. Everyone was so excited for the Hunger Games.
Of course they were. Because they weren't in the arena fighting with their friends.
