There's a party currently happening on the Slytherin Common Room for some reason. Since you're not a party person, you decided to read outside for some peace and quiet.

You sat beside the door painting of the room and start reading, you flip through the pages as you admired all the words inside the book, it's about (Any Book), your mum gave it to you on Christmas.

"(Y/N)?"

You look up and Draco Malfoy is staring down at you

You close your book and you stood up "Hey Draco, aren't you suppose to be in the party?" you ask

"I was, everyone is inside, except you. Why aren't you inside?" He ask

"I was uh.. I'm not a party person, really" You explain

"I am too, it's my first time to be on a party because my father won't let me because he said parties are awful" He rolled his eyes

You chuckle "Tell me about it"

"Wanna walk for a while? It's not yet curfew, if you want" He said

"Sure" You smiled and you both start walking around Hogwarts

It's night time at Hogwarts, candles and torches are lit up which makes the corridors and isle beautifully lit up, you admired every single place

You hear Draco chuckle "Why are you smiling?"

"Nothing, it's just I'm really lucky to be here at this Castle, Hogwarts is so beautiful" You smiled

Then all of a sudden, you came across to Harry, Ron and Hermione, they seems to be in a hurry.

"Hi (Y/N)!" Hermione greeted you happily

"Hi Guys! What's up?" You greet them happily

"Potter, Mudblood, Weasel. What the hell are you doing here?" Draco spat at them

"Draco" You warned him, you hate it when he acts like that around them

"It's not your business Malfoy, we want to talk to (Y/N)" said Harry, glaring at him.

"Yeah sure why not-"

"No, me and (Y/N) are off to somewhere and I don't want you three to disturb us"

He drags you with him, far away from the Golden Trio, as you both stop walking, you face him "Draco what was that all about?"

"What?"

"Why are you so rude to them? They're my friends! Can you treat them like a friend too?"

"Me? Be friends with those losers?" He scoff

You clenched your fist "If you keep being this way, don't be my friend anymore"

"FINE! GO WITH THEM THEN!" He snap

You storm out and made your way to The Great Hall

As you made your way, a letter drop from above you, you look up and you saw Hedwig flew away.

You opened the letter and it reads:

Dear (Y/N),

I know you're still with Malfoy, but please go to Hagrid's Hut as soon as possible, it's really important. And please do me a favor, get some books about spells and magical creatures on the library.

You quickly head to the Library and fetch books about spells, you grab them and quickly head out of the castle.
