  Mai's Pov

In the morning, I woke up late. When I got to the kitchen, there was a plate with eggs, waffles, and bacon and a note on top that read; I went out for a run. -Bryant

Judging by the fact that the food had gone cold, that would mean that he has been hone for a while. I quickly heated it up and then scarfed it down. After that I got dressed in my favorite black hoodie and matching jeans. Then I headed outside. I didn't know where I was headed but I would probably know when I got there. I don't think I was looking for Bryant. When I got to the end of the woods, there was a giant mansion. It reminds of me of the pack house that everyone used to live in from my pack. 

I put my hood up and walked towards it. I was quickly bombarded by 3 wolves. I quickly got into my fighting stance when one of them lunged at me. I ducked and punched upwards into it's stomach. The next one tried to grab my leg but I kicked it in the head and then again so it was knocked out from the pressure. Wait, why was this so easy? I felt like I already knew what they were going to do. It also felt as if I was used to fighting with it.

The last one swiped at my head but it only slashed my hoodie. The fabric fell off and my face was revealed. The last wolf froze and just stared at me. And then it rushed towards the woods, changed and then came back to me screaming "Mai!!" It was a girl with brown hair and eyes. I didn't really recognize her so I just stood there confused. "Mai, I can't believe you're back, I can't wait until Nathan and Zander see you! How've you been?" She seemed really friendly but I still didn't know who she was. But she did say somethingabout Zander so I assumed he was home. Maybe that is why I was compelled to come here. Maybe my wolf is trying to tell me something, that something important was here. The girl grabbed my wrist before I could protest and then led me inside. "Guys! It's Mai! She's back!"

In a matter of seconds, a whole bunch of people came rushing to me and shouted random things "Ohmygod!" "The Luna has returned" "This deserves a party" "FOOD!" Uh.. ok? That was weird. Then the room literally went still when Zander walked in with another guy. It seemed as if they weren't friends at all since they both were so tense after being with each other. Zander looked me up and down and then quietly growled but I'm pretty sure everyone still heard it. "Mai, I'm happy that you are here. Welcome back." The guy I assumed was Nathan hugged me tightly. Then he whispered in my ear so no one could hear "We need to talk later." I nodded slowly and then turned to Zander. "Zander can we talk." Everyone turned towards us. "Uh, sure why not? Follow me." He led me to this room that was labeled ALPHA'S OFFICE. We both got in and he closed the door. "So you wanted to talk with me?" I thought about what I was going to say before I said. "Bryant tells me your my mate. Is that right?" "Yes..." "He also tells me that I was in a life threatening situation, and you resolved it by having me forget everything, and breaking off the bond. Is that also correct?" "Mmhmm...." I'm guessing he didn't know where I was going so he would just give me one worded responses. "Well, since this is true, I would like to tell you something. I walked over to him and stroke his cheek. "Zander..." He was getting turned on. Right before he was about to kiss me, I punched him in the face so hard, he fell to the ground. "Why the fuck would you do that! What is wrong with you?" He clutched his cheek and stared at me. He was speechless.

"OHMYGOD! Who in their right mind would destroy that sacred bond between mates?! You're such a jerk! An asshole! An idiot!"

I could tell he was about to cry and thought; What kind of person is he?

After I calmed down, I knelt to the floor and put out my hand. "Even though I am incredibly pissed, and I deserve the right to, I would like to start over." He took my hand and I helped him up.

"Hey there. My name is Mai. What's your name?" he looked at me dumbfounded but then answered. "I'm Zander." We shook hands and then I smiled at him. Just then, there was yelling outside.

Then I guy came in the room and said, "Alpha! There's a rouge. He says hee wants Mai."

"Opps. Looks like that's my boyfriend, Gotta go!" I rushed outside and saw Bryant standing near the entrannce of the woods. "Hey Bryant." he didn't say anything. He just took me in his arms and kiised me. "Mmmm." After that, he took my hand and led me deeper into the woods, and to our house.
