Mai's Pov

I can't believe Zander kissed me! I mean, I have to admit he is a very very... very good kisser but still! He knows that I am with Bryant and I though that he respected that. But to make it worse, instead of pushing him away, I kissed him back! Ugh, how am I going to tell Bryant? Or should I even tell him in the first place?

When I walked into the room again, Bryant and Bobby were laughing with each other. "You actually did that?" Bobby said in the middle of his laughter.

"Yeah, and let me tell you that wasn't really an easy task to do if you know what I'm talking about." He winked at Bobby and then turned to me. "Oh, you're back?" he said. He took my hand and pulled me onto his lap.

"Even if she can be diffucult sometimes, I still love her with all my heart." Then he pecked my cheek and placed my head on his chest. i felt really bad. Mostly because her really cares for me and here i am with the warmt of another man's lips on mine. I could feel my frown deepening everytime I think about it. "So Mai, I was talking to Bobby here and I convinced him to forget about you being a violent person and have you restore your very close friendship as it seems. "

That made me perk up. Bobby wanted to start over? Yesss....

"Really?" I looked at Bobby. I dashed towards him and hugged him tightly. Probably tighter than how I had when I saw him for the first time earlier. That's when Zander walked in.

"I wanna talk to the youngster as well." he said.

Even though the vibe that I had from him currently made me feel awkward, I ignored it. I sat in Bobby's lap and was playing with his hair, while Bryant laid on the couch and Zander was on the master sofa.

"So, do you remember when Mai had ran away, when ou found her on that bench?" "Yes," Of course I didn't remember but I paid close attention to what they were talking about.

"She was a wreck because she had found her mate when she didn't want one and she had run away and stuff like that." When Bobby said that, Zander tensed.

"Well, when I first officially met her, she was crying over some guy named Bobby. At first I thought the person she was refering to was her boyfriend but then I she told me that he was a boy she had befriended a few years back who had died. She had obviously cared about the boy so much to have cried over him and had nightmares about the death and everything."

"But I never died."

"I realize that Bobby, since you're sitting right there."

"So, the thing that the guy injected in her must have been a hallucinagen. (Is that even how you spell it?) It must've caused her to hallucinate the death to make her think that you died and forget about you."

"Okay, I get that but why?"

"That's the thing that I dont understand. And you," Zander points to Bobby. "Are going to find out Bob."
