The day lasted forever. It was dreadful. It was terrible. Blossom was now in the God Lands. At least she was safe.
I was occupying myself by packing my things in my dorm. Sans was sitting in the bathroom alone, doing something in private, but I didn't know what. I occasionally heard the sound of sobbing coming from the bathroom.
I missed Blossom. It was only ten minutes, but it was still a long time. Imagine it. Having a baby one night, cuddling with her through the night, and sending her away for three months in the morning. It sucked.
Sans' phone rang, and I picked it up to answer it. "Hello?" I answered. A voice on the other end replied "Is Sans there?" I said "Yes, but he's busy at the moment.. May I help you?"
"Just tell him 'C.H.', alright? Alright."
The person hung up, and I looked at his phone in confusion. Who was C.H.? I walked to the bathroom and gently knocked on the door. "Baby..?"
I heard a sniffle. "Yeah?" he answered. I said "Your phone rang, and someone told me to tell you 'C.H.'. I don't know what that means..."
The door swung open, and Sans was looking at me. "C.H.?" I nodded. He said "Damnit... I gotta go."
"What is C.H.?" I asked. "Chara." he replied. I gulped.
He had to go fight Chara. We both ran to the bedroom and he put on his long white coat with neon blue stripes on it. He put the hood up, and his scythe appeared on his back. I got dressed as well, and a golden bow appeared on my back.
"What are you doing?" Sans asked. I responded "Going with you. I want to see what Chara is like. Don't argue with me, I'm going. And that's final."
He sighed and knelt down. I got on his back, and he opened my window. Spreading his wings, he flew out and up into the sky. He said "Baby, you can't interfere with this. She's much stronger than you. Stay behind the bone-wall I'm going to make for you. I'll make a little hole so you can look through, okay?"
I only nodded. I didn't need him to warn me about Chara, but I did know that she was super strong. Sadly, stronger than me.
He flew to a mountain with a large opening in the side. Flying inside, he flew to a hall that had golden walls and floor.
"The Judgement Hall.." Sans said.
A little girl stood there, with red eyes, short brown hair, a green sweater with a yellow stripe on it, and holding a knife.
"Hello, Sans." the little girl said. Sans landed, and I got off his back. It must've been Chara. Chara looked at me and asked "Who is this? Your wife?" Sans replied "Yes, and you keep your blade away from her." As they were having their conversation, I was glaring at Chara.
She was a bit creepy. The way she looked at me sent chills down my spine.
Sans put up a wall made from bones with a small hole in the middle for me to watch through.
I saw Chara run towards Sans, and she swung her knife at him. Sans dodged, and formed a bunch of bones around her. He made them fly towards her, and only a few hit her. She dodged most of them.
I stayed staring at them, watching each other dodging the other's attacks. I actually got kind of bored after a while.
The fight dragged on for at least three hours. Just back and forth. Knife swinging, and then bone flying.
It was the same thing, over and over.
Until eventually, a bone pierced Chara through the chest. I watched with interest, watching Chara bleed out. Sans was breathing heavily and sweating majorly. He looked like he was about too pass out. He laid down on the floor, and closed his eyes.
The bone wall collapsed, and I rushed over to Sans. I picked his head up and held it in my arms, stroking his hair. "It's okay, Baby. Just rest."
Chara's body flickered, and then disappeared. All the bones in the Judgement Hall also disappeared.
I gave him little kisses on the forehead. He smiled as I did. Sans asked "So, what do ya think about Chara?" I smiled and replied "She seems like a little bitch." We both laughed at my response.
"Yeah, you're not wrong." he said. I kept running my fingers through his hair, whispering calming things to him.
We got back to my dorm a few minutes later, and I finished my packing. We had to move into the Great Palace. I had to become Light.
Our lives were about to change.
Sans picked up all of the boxes at once, and flew out the window with them. I smiled and sighed. "Why does he take them all at once? He'll overwork himself." I mumbled to myself.
Looking around the dorm, I sighed again. I felt tears forming in my eyes. I didn't want to leave. I wanted to graduate. I wanted a degree. I wanted a real job. Like a lawyer or something.
Walking around the dorm one last time, I touched the walls. I was there, dealing with some tough shit. Sans was mad at me for not having a baby with him, I got in a crash, me and Sans slept together, we got arrested, dealt with friends, had the baby, came back in contact with my parents, went back to my homeland, and so much more.
I pressed my forehead against the wall, starting to cry silently. I came to Harvard University to have a normal life. To be a human. Not an abused little girl who had to replace her father's role in the Kinishan society. I was just happy that no one tried to make me a slut, drug-addict, or an alcoholic.
Sans came back, and saw me crying against the wall. He put his arms around my shoulders and held me close to him, wiping my tears away.
"It'll be okay, we'll figure something out. Maybe you can go to the Kinishan college again." he said, trying to make me feel better. I replied "I already graduated there, when I was eight years old."
He smiled and said "Exactly. Because you're smart. But maybe you'll be able to enroll again."
He picked me up and flew out of the dorm, without me being able to say goodbye to what was going to be my old life.
