The nurses wheeled me back, and Sans was next to me every step of the way. They put the bed back into place, curtsied towards me, and left silently. Sans pulled a chair over to the side of my bed and sat down in it. "What are you doing? Lay in bed with me, I'm cold anyway." I said.

He smiled and gently moved me over, getting on the bed next to me. He touched the side of my face, and pressed his forehead against mine. It was a sweet moment.

The moment was easily ruined when Jason asked "Tesla, how long was it that you were kidnapped for?" I thought about the question for many minutes. "I.. I don't know. Two, three days maybe? I'm not sure."

"A week and a half." Sans said. I looked at him. "Really?"

"Yep. I counted."

"Well, damn.." I said. He then spoke "You were also unconscious for two weeks. You were mumbling in your sleep, and nothing could stop you. You had seizures too."

My jaw dropped. "Two weeks?! Holy shit! What'd I miss?" Sans smiled and said "Nothing important. Your dad kept asking me questions about if I knew anything of your location. I kept telling him I didn't know anything." I laid my head back onto Sans' arm.

Abby asked "How bad was it losing your wings?" I looked at her sadly, remembering the pain of my wings being ripped out of my body. I gulped and answered "It was terrible.. I remember hearing cracking and popping as the chains pulled them out... I-It was.. I just.. I..-" Sans stopped me by kissing me. He said "Don't finish. We don't need to know more." I sighed and nodded. Kristin asked "What were you doing when you were kidnapped?"

I thought back to the morning after me and Sans had sex. I said "Well, a butler told us there was a 'special breakfast' prepared for us. He said that is was for the first meal in the Palace. But he lied to us, because there was no breakfast being prepared. He set us up so that Nileta could use some sort of creatures of his to fight us. Both me and Sans were distracted, and I was taken. I think I was hit on the back of the head or something."

Kristin then said "Oh..." I smiled at her surprise. "Did they feed you anything? Like, ANYTHING?" Jason asked. "They only fed me once, that was the first night I was there I think. They gave me bread and water. And yes, I ate it, surprisingly..." I answered.

They kept asking me questions for the next hour.

"Did they whip you? How many times?"

"Yes, they did. A total of forty-seven times."

"Was it Nileta or Hishoka?"

"Both of them."

"How did you get out?"

"A woman from the White Rain helped me."

"Did any Kinishans die during the battle?"

"I don't know, I didn't stay long. I'd assume some died."

"Did you sleep at all?"

"Yes, I did. Only a few times though."

They stopped asking me questions one at a time, and started rambling them off like the paparazzi. Sans was the only one not asking me any more questions.

I barely got a chance to answer any of their questions, and 99.99 percent of them I didn't want to answer. It kept bringing up memories from my time in Parclo.

The more they asked questions, the more I couldn't answer. I didn't want to be rude to my friends, but a lot of these questions hurt me to answer them. I tried my best to answer each with a kind and honest response, but it was getting harder and harder every minute.

I thought the questions were finally over when they stopped for a few minutes, but I thought too soon. They started them up again, and I sighed. "Won't they just fucking stop already?!" I thought to myself. I wanted to decline them so badly, but they looked so concerned for me. I decided to just answer their questions politely.

"Are you gonna be able to forget about it?"

"Probably not. I-"

"How many times did you try to escape?"

"A lot, too many to-"

"How close did you come to escaping?"

"I'm not sure, I escaped the torture chamber, but I was caught and-"

"Did you kill anyone?"

"Yes."

"How many people did you kill?"

"Just one."

"Why'd you kill them?"

"I had no other choice. He was preventing-"

"What was it like when you got out?"

"It felt really good. The air was fresh, and I-"

"What did the White Rain woman do to help you?"

"I guess she went back to Kinisha and got help. I don't really-"

"Was it scary?"

"Well, obviously. I-"

"What did you think of first when you got there?"

"To be honest, I can't-"

"Was is like the first time?"

"Guys, I can't answer-"

"Was it almost the exact same thing?"

"Stop, I don't-"

They never let me finish speaking, so I hid my face with my hands and burst out crying. I couldn't take it, too many memories from the kidnapping had been brought up. Sans snapped and said "Guys! Enough! Can't you see she doesn't like these questions?!"

They each shut up and looked at me crying. Sans went to pat my back but stopped, realizing it would've hurt me. He wrapped an arm around my stomach and lightly kissed my cheek multiple times. Abby lowered her head shamefully, along with Jason and Kristin. Abby said "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to overwhelm you..." Jason and Kristin also apologized, but I gave no response.

Sans sighed and said "I think it'd be best if you guys just left. She needs some time to think on her own. I'll leave too, just in a few minutes."

The others agreed and said their goodbyes, walking out of the room sadly. Sans then said "Sorry about them, I guess they were just really curious..."

I only stayed quiet with my face in my hands. He grabbed my wrists, pulling my hands down. I was forced to look at him then, with the one eye I could see out of. He asked "May I see your eye..?" I gulped and looked away. I didn't even know what it looked like and I didn't want him to. He said "Please, my love..?"

I sighed and nodded. I looked back at him and he gently grabbed the bandage around my eye, lifting it up. The second he saw it, his eyes swelled up with tears. He snapped his fingers, forming a small mirror in his hand. He showed me my eye through the mirror, and I gasped.

It was swollen shut, with a bloody scar reaching from my eyebrow down to my cheekbone. My eyelid was covered in blood, and so wasn't the bandage. He made the mirror disappear and put the bandage back down. He kissed me and said "I didn't kill either of them. But they kidnapped you, causing an act of war. But you make the call. If you want a war, so be it. If you don't want war, also so be it. I'll call a meeting of the Gods when your decision is made and when you're healed completely."

He then said "I love you, I'm going to go check on the city." He kissed my forehead and left the room. I looked at my hands once he was gone and sighed.

"Welcome to your new life, Tesla." I mumbled to myself miserably.
