"W-What could my parents want from me? We.. We haven't spoken for nine years!" I asked her with confusion. She said "I don't know, they just said they needed you as soon as they could. You don't have to go right away, but you do have to go sometime in the next five hours."

"A-Alright..."

She flew off, just as clumsily as before. I just fluttered my wings, and kept flying towards the police station. I landed a little ways away on the sidewalk so no one would see my wings. Putting the money in my pocket, I jogged towards the door and ran in. I walked to the secretary and asked "Do you have any paperwork to release someone?"

She nodded, and handed me a clip-board and pen. I took it and leaned against a wall. I started filling out the information.

I walked up to the secretary and handed her the paperwork. She took it and typed something on her computer. She handed the paper back to me, and said "You'll want to take this to the captain, Captain Jacobs. He's down the West Hall, last room on the right."

I ran down the West Hall, to the end. I shoved the door open to find a tall and broad man sitting behind a desk, sipping a coffee. He looked up me. "May I help you, Ma'am?" I said, practically shouting, "You're damn right you can help me. I filled this paperwork out, and I want my husband released. I have the money with me right now, in cash."

I tossed the paper on his desk, and he examined it. "You said you had the money with you at this moment, Ma'am?" I nodded. He said "Alright. Bring the money to the secretary, and she'll have an officer release... Gaster Sans, is it?" I nodded again. He held his hand out to the door, welcoming me out to leave. He didn't have to ask me twice.

I walked to the secretary again and took out the money. "Here. I want Gaster Sans released IMMEDIATELY. If he isn't, I'll see to it that you and everyone here pays a punishment." She looked at me and gulped. I was good at scaring people. She said "Okay, Ma'am. Calm down, we'll get him released." She leaned over into the intercom on her desk. "I need three officers to release Gaster Sans from his holding cell, we have someone bailing him out."

I paced around the Lobby, rubbing my hands together. This was taking too long. WAY too long. "What's taking so fucking long?!" I asked her loudly.

"Ma'am, I JUST alerted them to release him about... thirty seconds ago. If you don't calm down, I'll call a couple officers to take you out, and have you wait out there." I rolled my eyes and kept pacing. Who the hell gave her the right to talk back to me? To THREATEN me? This bitch had SOME nerve to talk that way to me while I was pissed.

A few minutes later, I saw Sans being escorted out by three police officers. I looked at him, and ran into his arms. He looked at me in shock, but held me anyway. Grabbing the collar of his shirt and violently shaking it, I was yelling "Don't you EVER do that again, Sans!! Do you hear me?! DO YOU HEAR ME?!"

He stroked my hair and said "Yes, I understand. Just calm down, you being mad isn't helping anything. Just pay the fee and let's get out of here." I obeyed his order. Walking up to the secretary, I took the 100,000 dollars out of my pocket and handed it to her. She took it, typed on her computer again, and said "Alright, Ma'am. Your husband is free to go. Have a nice afternoon."

I grabbed Sans' hand and practically dragged him outside.

He said "You're mad, aren't you?"

"You're damn right I'm mad! What the fuck were you thinking when you said it was your fault?! I SPECIFICALLY told you NOT to say or think that!"

"Well, I didn't want you in that building with criminals and perverts. It's not a place for a woman. It's not a place for MY woman."

"Baby, you KNOW I can handle myself. You saw the damage I did to my cellmate. I can-"

He held up his hand. "No more. I'm happy you're not stuck in there, and I'm happy you got me out so quickly. Let's just stop at that."

I hugged him and kissed his cheek. I said "Okay, as long as you PROMISE not never to do that again." He said "I promise, my love."

I looked him in the eye. And he looked back at me. Closing my eyes, I pressed my lips against his, forcing a kiss. He put his arms around my back and kissed me as well. He was finally out. Even though it's only been a couple of days.

I pulled away from him, realizing I only had two hours left to get to Kinisha. "Baby, this girl flew to me when I was coming to get you. She was from Kinisha, and she said that Ciano needed to see me."

Sans looked at me with surprise. "As in your dad, Ciano? The guy that hit, whipped, and screamed at you for your mistakes, Ciano?" I nodded.

"Oh, HELL no. I'm not letting you go near him. If he needs you so badly, Tes, he can come get you. And if he does, he'll have to get through me. I'm your sword and shield, Baby. I don't want him to try anything that could hurt you."

I sighed. "But Sans, what if it's so urgent he couldn't come? I mean, he IS Light and everything, he kind of has duties he has to attend to..."

He rolled his eyes. "Oh, come ON, Tes. What has he ever done for you? Why should you go help him with whatever he needs you for? Think about that for a while."

He picked me up and kept walking, while I thought about whether I should listen to the girl from my homeland, or listen to my husband, who actually had a good point.
