~Y/N P.O.V~

Today's my first day of high school, I'm so excited. I jumped out of bed to get ready. Once I was done, I went downstairs to eat breakfast.

"Hey Lil sis, whats up?" My brother Dante asked me. (Yes you are Dante and Genes sister).

"Hey Dante you ready for school" I say grabbing a bowl and pouring the cereal. Dante was going to respond but was interrupted by loud stomps. Genes up. I giggled seeing him half asleep marching downstairs.

"What are you laughing at Y/N" He said grumpily.

"Oh just you" I say and he punches my arm playfully. I have the best brothers ever. Yes Gene can be a little rough around the edges but you have to love him. We all got ready and headed to school.

~Time skip to home room~

This morning I was introduced to Dante's friends: Garroth and Laurence. They seem nice. Then I headed to homeroom. I saw these two kids in the back talking. A boy and a girl. The boy had white hair and emerald green eyes, the girl had obsidian black hair and hazel eyes. I walked up to them and introduced myself.

"Hi I'm Y/N. Whats your names?" I ask them and the girl smiles.

"I'm Aphmau and this is Travis" The girl said cheery. The boy just looked at me and waved shyly. He's cute when hes shy. I sat down next to them and we talked. Aphmau asked if I wanted to be their 'Not alone buddy' and I accepted. They seem like nice people.

~Time skip to lunch~ (Seeing Zenix now)

I was walking into lunch with Aphmau and Travis. We went to sit with Dante and the boys.

"Hey Y/N How was your day so far?" Dante asks me.

"It's been good. I met Aphmau and Travis" I smiled at my brother and continued eating. I was going to trow away my lunch, when I bumped into someone. He had dark brown hair and brown eyes. He looked down at me and helped me up. (Your shorter than Zenix).

"Watch were your going Y/N" The guy said to me. How does he know my name? Who is he?

"I'm sorry I didn't see you..." I trailed off. I don't know his name.

"Y/N It's me...Zenix" He said and I gasped. How could I forget? Hes my childhood best friend. He came over all the time with Sasha to hang with Gene and me. Hes changed since allot form when he was young.

"Zenix. wow you look different" I say looking him up and down

"Yeah I'm not the same kid I once was. I'm a new Zenix" He said and I nodded. He does look and act very differently. Zenix pick up my books, that I dropped and walked back over to the Shadow Knights table.

~Zenix P.O.V~

I was walking over to Gene and Sasha when I got bumped into. Who ever ran into me will pay. I looked down to see who did it, I saw a girl. I helped her up and looked at her. Her E/C eyes were shining in the lights and her H/C hair was perfectly in place. I knew who this was. It's Genes sister, my childhood crush, Y/N. Shes so beautiful, she looks better now then she did when we were kids.

"Watch were your going Y/N" I tell her and she looks at me. I guess she doesn't remember me.

"I'm sorry I didn't see you..." She trailed off. Yep she doesn't remember me. I don't judge her I do look very different.

"Y/N It's me Zenix" I say and she gasped. I guess she remembers me now. I did always come over to hang with Gene.

"Zenix. wow you look different" She said looking me up and down. I blushed a little she was staring at me.

"Yeah I'm not the same kid i once was. I'm a new Zenix" I say and she nods. I pick up her books and walk over to the table. Were I'm greeted by a grinning Sasha and a shocked Gene. What did I miss?

AN: Y/N is Gene and Dante sister. Ya it works better like than since its a Zenix X reader fanfic. anyway Zenix and you have been friends for a very long time. and Zenix did mention you were his childhood crush. Are those feelings still there? and why are Gene and Sasha acting like that? Hope you liked it and the next chapter will be out tomorrow.
