Semele clapped along to her friends' dance. They laughed together after they decided to stop. "That was fun, but I have to go now." Tecton sighed. The trio hugged each other before Tecton waved goodbye. Xena sighed as she saw Semele in her thinking state. "Y'know, I wanna accomplish something very amazing." Semele smiled at Xena. Xena knew exactly what Semele was thinking. "Semele. No." Xena commanded. "Semele yes." Semele smiled. "Your going to get yourself killed." Xena informed. "I know, its just sometimes I don't know why only the men get to go to war, and women can't." Semele questioned. "It's because the men are stronger." Xena commented. "Who says a woman can't be stronger than a man." Semele goes to a mirror and grabs some shears. "Semele quit being curious." Xena sighed. "Well you can't blame a girl for trying~" Semele sang as she used the shears to make her hair shorter. "Your really doing this, huh?" Xena sighed. "Yep!" Semele exclaimed as she finished cutting her hair. It was now in a cut that warriors have. "That looks good, for not knowing how to cut hair properly." Xena commented. "I knew sometime there was going to be war, so I practiced on male servants." Semele shrugged. "Your brother let you do that?" Xena's eyes went wide. "Only Kiku, which he thought I was doing it for other reasons." Semele explained. "That Kiku, he's something, huh?" Xena said. "Yep, but he is pretty cool. He's shown me a type of sword called a katana." Semele commented. "What does it look like?" Xena asked the princess. "I can't show you because the only one in the kingdom is in the castle." Semele sighed. Xena went to do chores, because her mother informed her to do so. Semele sat there, on a chair in the living quarters. She chatted with her friend's mother a bit while Xena was doing laundry out by the well. After Xena came back, Semele had to go to her dance lessons. Xena decided to walk to the studio with her. "I have my stuff, let's go!" Semele had her dance equipment in a bag that was thrown over her shoulder. "Okay, let's go!" Xena started to walk to the studio, and Semele followed. The females arrived at the studio just in time. "Wonder what the others are gonna say about your hair." Xena said. "They'll think its cool, there's another girl in there that has short hair too." Semele comments. "Okay, have fun!" Xena ran off as Semele entered the Dance Studio. Semele sashays into the main area of the studio, smiling brightly. "Woah cool haircut!" Aeton compliments Semele. "Thanks!' She smiled. "How are you out of the war?" Semele asked Aeton. "My parents payed a fee so I don't have to go." Aeton shrugged. "Yeah that's why Tecton is gone, I miss him already.." Semele sighed. "Oh... I hope he doesn't die..." Aeton is a friend of Tecton as well. "Same here." The instructor informed that the class was starting, so the class began to do stretching exercises. Semele was in a stratle when a female named Elpis sat next to her. "Hi?" Semele questioned why the younger female sat by her. "Hi, are you the princess?" The girl asked excitedly. "Yep." Semele smiled. She was always loved by the younger females of the kingdom. "Can we do kick drill next to each other?!" Elpis asked with puppy dog eyes. "Sure." Semele smiled and stretched a bit more before the instructor informed it was kick drill time. Elpis stood next to Semele and Aeton was standing on the other side of Semele. They did the kick drill flawlessly, and after practicing their dance, Semele waved to Elpis and Aeton as she left. Xena was waiting outside for her. "So how was it?" Xena asked. "Another girl asked if I was the princess." Semele smiled. "That's like the tenth this week." Xena sighed. "It's not bothering me." Semele said. "Okay." Xena shrugged, and they headed back to Xena's house. "Hello Semele, how was dance class?" Xena's mother greeted. "Good, what did you two do while I was gone?" Semele sat down on a stool. "Not much, mostly just chatting about things." Xena answered. "Ah, so how's your garden Mrs. Dellis?" Semele asked Xena's mother. "It's growing lovely, thanks for asking." Xena's mother beamed. "Your welcome! I'm always happy whenever I get some fresh parsley from Xena so the chef can use it!" Semele grinned. "My parsley is known as the best in Greece!" Xena's mother joked. "Yeah!" Semele laughed. "Semele do you wanna braid my hair?" Xena asked Semele, getting a bit jealous. "Sure." Semele got off the stool she was sitting on, and walked over to where Xena was and started to braid her hair. "Your gonna get all the people when I'm done!" Semele was determined to make Xena look awesome. "Okay!" Xena laughed. After she finished, Semele smiled and held a mirror out to Xena. Xena looked in the mirror and a smile appeared on her face. "I love it! Thanks Semele!" Xena hugged her older friend. "Your welcome!" Semele beamed. "I heard you wanted to be in the war, Semele." Xena's mother blurted. "Mother!" Xena sighed. "Yeah, did you tell her Xena?" Semele asked. "Yeah, we kinda had a chat about it." Xena confessed. "Oh, okay." Semele shrugged. "I do support you, its just that it's going to be hard to get you in." Xena's mother decided. "Yeah, I know, but I have you're help, right?" Semele asked. "You have mine." "Mine as well." The Dellis' agreed. "Sweet!" Semele smiled brightly. "Your hair is already in a male style, so we'll have to do something with your body somehow." Xena thought out loud. "Yeah, but how?" Semele asked. "There is a few things we could do, but they might hurt very bad." Xena's mother agreed with her daughter, "We'll do it tomorrow, it's too late." The house went into deep slumber.
