The Romans were planning to attack back at the Greeks. Romulus, the king of the Roman kingdom that had declared war on the peaceful kingdom in Greece, was conversing with his grandsons. Feliciano, and Lovino, are the twin grandsons of Romulus. "Grandfather?" The younger of the twins, Feliciano, asked his grandfather. "Yes? I'm trying to make battle plans-" "Do you think that the princess of the other kingdom is hiding?" Romulus was cut off by Feliciano. "Most likely." The elder sighed, and went to talk with soldiers. Feliciano was a curious person. He went off to take a nap. Lovino on the other hand, was looking at the tomato plants in the garden of the colossal palace. A servant, Antonio, was tending to the plants, pulling weeds out here and there. "Are the tomatoes ripe yet?" "Not yet m'lord." The simple servant told the prince. He groaned in annoyance. The older of the twins had loved tomatoes since he could eat them. "Tell me when they are." He walked off, now having nothing to do. On the other side of the battlefield, Semele, and the rest of the army are done with their battle plans, after three days. "We will attack tomorrow men, get some sleep." All were dismissed, which meant Semele could go off and talk with Xena. Yes, Xena somehow could talk with Semele. Why? Well, when Semele was telling the second in command about being in the army, she told that Xena was her 'wife'. Which all the men with wives and or children, they could periodically see them. Semele did this almost every night. "Hey Xena." Semele greeted her friend. "Hi! How's the army going?" "We're going into battle tomorrow, the Romans may actually be prepared this time." The friends let out a giggle or two. "They didnt seem prepared last time." "How did you see?!" "I snuck in." "Now I know where I got that from-" The two giggled more. Tecton saw the girls whisper and spread gossip, an arm around Aeton. (A/N Dangit I ship these two so hard) "What are you two up to?" Semele and Xena looked at the males, and almost screamed. "You two are so cute together!" "Yeah!" "Ugh." Aeton sighed, not liking this attention. "We should go to sleep-" Tecton said, and dragged Aeton along. Semele rolled her eyes. "Those two." "I know." Xena looked at Semele. "I gotta go." The friends hugged. "See ya!" Semele went off to her bunk, that she shared with Aeton and Tecton. She hummed lightly while walking along. Then a soldier, of a bigger build, saw Semele walking along. "Hey you." She looked back at the soldier. "Hm?" Her voice was now deeper. "You seem a bit too...puny to be third in command." "I have relations with the king." She answered. "Hah, like you'd have relations with the king." "Hey leave him alone." Another soldier, of the same stature as the one teasing Semele, entered the scene. "And why should I listen to you?" "I'll tell the king." "Hah like you-" The soldier was kneed in the gut. He fell to the ground. "Don't be rude." Semele looked at the brave soldier who helped her. "I'm Belen." "Soterios." She smiled lightly. "You seem like you know a lot about war." "I researched about it before I joined." "Hm, that's nice." She shrugged in response. "Do you know who that was?" "I think that's Orrin, he isn't the nicest." "I'll inform the king tomorrow about his... how do I put it... teasing?" "I think that's the best way to call it." "Well I'll tell him." ".. wait..." "Hm?" "He might be a spy." A wave of confusion, then suspicion came over Semele. "We'll have to interrogate him then." She walked off, sleepy as always. Belen walked off to his post. The next day arrived, Orrin turning out to actually be a spy. "Hey Belen?" Semele confronted the nice soldier. "Hm? Oh hi Soterios!" He smiled. "Hi, you were right about Orrin. I'm thinking you'd do better as a commander." "Really?" Belen looked overjoyed. "Yeah, you have some good detective skills." She smiled at him. "Wow.." He seemed even more happy than he seems already. "You'll get your new armor tomorrow." Semele walked off, going back to the bunk she shared with her friends. "BOYS!" She yelled, awaking Tecton and Aeton. "What.." Tecton groaned, he looked very tired. "It's training time!" She shoved Aeton a bit, making him stumble. "Hey-" "I'm trying to get you guys pumped up." "More like annoying us-" They both grunted. "Sorry-" She rubbed the back of her neck. "HURRY UP MEN!" A commander yelled. "C'mon!" Semele dragged her friends out of the bunk they all shared. Men were lined up on every corner of the bunkers. "Alright men, our battle plans will be done today, the weapons are to your right, and commanders you go to the left." Heracles informed them. Everyone marched off to a certain way. Tecton and Aeton waved to Semele as they passed her, which she waved back. Now all the commanders were lined up. The king walked in, which made them stand up straighter. "Barak on the north corner, with Eber. Demon in the center, Heli a few paces away from him." The list went on until it reached Semele. "Soterios, south corner, with our new commander Belen." The two new found friends smiled at one another. "Dismiss." Scrambling to her spot with Belen, Semele grabbed a thin sword and dashed across the battlefield. They all heard a sharp yell of "Charge!" and all ran to the Roman side. The Romans actually were ready this time around, and the young grandsons of Romulus decided to see how he strategized an attack. Feliciano's eyes followed many Greek soldiers, as well as some on his own side. But a soldier in the back of the Greek side caught his hazel eyes. A soldier with slightly longer hair than the others, eyes that glowed from the suns beams.
