The general called back the people who signed up to be in the war. Semele was called back, and appointed to third in command. Because of her brother knowing she decided to join the war, the third in command doesn't go on the battlefield unless completely necessary. Semele now was sitting on a chair in her assigned room, talking with her friends, Tecton and Aeton. They laughed as Aeton told a joke. "I have a feeling about you two, a feeling that you two like each other~" Semele smirked, as Tecton and Aeton blushed. (A/N I forgot to say that Aeton is gay, shoulda said it before-) "I can assure you... we have no romantic attraction-" Tecton said, rubbing the back of his neck, which Aeton agreed with a nod. "It'll come sometime. I know it." Semele smiled. "Soterios! Aeton! Tecton! Stations!" A higher up yelled. The group scrambled to their spots. Semele, or Soterios, was up near the front of the battalion, but was not going to fight. Aeton and Tecton were simple soldiers, so they were behind Semele. "Charge!" The female screamed, in more of a masculine tone. The Greeks ran at full speed at the stationary Romans. The Romans clutterly got their weapons, and attacked back at the Greeks. There wasn't much bloodshed, more people using sticks against swords. It wasn't much of a fair fight, but that's what war is. "Retreat!" Semele yelled once more, all of the soldiers running back to their posts. A few died, but they were Romans. Tecton and Aeton were fine. "You two okay?" She asked her friends. "Yeah we're good." Tecton answered for both himself and Aeton. "Good, I don't want you two to be dead right as the fighting begins-" She had a small smile on her face. "Well-" Aeton started. "Don't-" Semele stopped him. "Yeah, we gotta keep the spirit up, at least we can have fun in war." Tecton smiled. He was always the one to come up with fun ideas. "Well, if I were you, I'd get some food, they don't have much, and you should get some when they have it." Semele said, stretching in her chair. Tecton and Aeton nodded, going off to get food. They both wondered why she stayed behind, but they just shrugged to themselves. Semele on the other hand, was still in the bunker, yawning. Why did she not go to get food? Her brother had sent her some, so she was waiting for it. Makes sense for him to do that. He probably didn't want her to eat commoner food. Which she didn't mind if she had to. A servant from the castle knocked on the door to the bunker room. Semele lazily got up, and walked to the door. "Your food, princess." The servant bowed, holding out a plate of Saganaki. She smiled lightly. "Thank you, now off to the palace with you." She took her food, and sat down again. Aeton and Tecton were now back in the room, and they all ate in quiet. Tecton was eyeing Semele's Saganaki. "You want a bite?" She asked. ".. is it bad if I do?" He was a bit embarrassed about it. "No, here-" She put a bit of her Saganaki onto his plate, which had Baklava on it. "You're the best." Tecton flashed Semele a smile, which made her smile too. Aeton stole a piece from Tecton's plate, which made Tecton huff. "That's mine!" "Sharing is caring!" Semele giggled at the two. "You two are so childish! Be men!" "Says the girl who dressed up like a man-" "Hush-" She pushed Tecton, making him laugh. Aeton just rolled his eyes. "So, when's the next attack?" "Soon, but not too soon. It's going to be in the night. But we're going to be on guard at all times, just in case those Romans attack." "Okay." Semele yawned. "Tired?" Tecton sprawled out in his chair. "Yeah.. these beds aren't very comfortable-" Aeton rolled his eyes once more. "Because you are used to sleeping on beds fit for royalty-" She sighed. "I know, but even the bed I had used at Xena's was more comfortable than this..." She poked the bed. "... thing." Aeton laid on the bed. "I think it's comfy." "So do I." Tecton added. Semele sighed again. "Forget it. I'm in dire need of sleep-" She went to one of the beds, and flopped onto it. The boys laughed. "At least the pillow doesn't break your back-" "You got that right." "Well technically your head-" "Shush, you're a nerd, we know-" Semele and Tecton laughed. Aeton's face was burning from embarrassment. "Sorry-" Tecton sat next to Aeton, leaning against him. "Awwwww~" Semele gushed. "How cute~!" "It's not cute-" "Just accept fate-" She laughed at her two male friends. "So, when's the next attack?" Tecton asked the princess. "I don't know, they didn't tell me yet-" "Sounds suspicious-" Aeton's eyes narrowed. "Aeton it's not suspicious at all, they just need to plan how we're going to attack-" "Oh-" "Hah! Aeton, Semele knows more about war than you!" "Quit teasing him-" "Why?" "Ugh-" Semele flopped back on her bed. "Why are you both so diffic-" "Men, we're going over a strategy-" She was interrupted by a fellow soldier. "Oh-" Semele sat up, and made her voice deeper. "C'mon-" Motioning her friends to get ready, Semele, Tecton, and Aeton went to the meeting area. There were many soldiers, from tall and muscular to short and weak. "What is the strategy?" Semele called out to the 2nd in command. "It's very simple, but complicated enough to confuse the Romans." "Excellent." She gave the male a smile. A board was set up, with drawings on it. "We are to follow these exactly." He tapped the board with a stick, to get the mens' (And woman's) attention. The 2nd in command went through the plan, while Heracles was sitting on a chair right next to him. Then nightfall came, and all was quiet and motionless.
