Hours later- lunch break
Mal's POV
"Mal, hey!" I turned around to see Evie, coming from chemistry.
She's wearing something like she would never have if she was on the Isle...she's acting more like a princess which is annoying to say the least.(A/N Evie's outfit)
"Hey" I answered, "What's the time?"
"11:50" she answered "and you look fine and it won't take long to get to the other side of the school"
I widen my eyes.
"SHIT, I forgot about that!" I exclaimed, Evie rolled her eyes.
"Don't swear, its not princess like" she said, making me roll my eyes.
She is just as annoying as Ben when it comes to my attitude and clothes.
"I need to go E so bye" I said and walked fast to the other side of the school.~~~~~~~
I sighed as soon as I got the the entrance where Ben's father's statue is, the press were all around me, the camera lights blinding me and the questions firing like guns.
"MAL, MAL,MAL, MAL, MAL" they all exclaimed, making me blink in shock.
"One question at a time please" I said kindly, with a fake smile as they calmed down.
"Only 1 day until the royal meeting..." the tv presenter said "Are you feeling prepared?"
I nodded.
"Yes, the meeting is a big deal for the people of Auradon to recognise king Ben's relationships with the trading partners as well as lords and maidens of lands" I answered.
"How does it feel to be the most envied girl in Auradon?" A journalist asked, shocking me.
"I'm no sure how to answer that one" I started "But I would like to say to all those girls out there not to envy me; you don't need a royal to make you complete; I was lucky that my missing puzzle piece is king Ben"
The cameras kept flashing away as more questions kept on coming.
"Have you heard about the rumours about king Ben bringing 3 villain kids over to Auradon to study at Auradon prep?" Someone asked.
I nodded.
"I have heard about this and it is not fully true; only one is studying her last year of her schooling here in Auradon, the other two denied the offer and stayed at the Isle" I answered.
"Which child is it?" The same person asked.
'You can say my name Mal' Uma's voice said in my head.
"Uma, the daughter of Ursula" I answered, making some of the press gasp "Don't worry, even though she does have some fun pranking the students she doesn't hurt anyone"
"Are you sure we can trust her? Last time-"
"I understand your concern" I said sternly "But I have to add that the Isle is very different to Auradon; apart from the villains living there powerless"
"Such as?" The same guy said.
"They have very poor living conditions, very unhygienic and eat rotten food to survive" I answered, making the press gasp "But they know nothing different than to steal or have fun because that is what they got taught"
"Could Uma be the one of many that come over?" Another lady at the back asked.
I laughed.
"I cannot say that even if I did know, that is up to king Ben" I answered, "Now, anymore questions?""I have one" A little girl, around 10, pushed to the front with her own camera.
Her hair is in two strawberry blonde piggytails and has fair skin and ice blue eyes.
I crunched down to her height, making the cameras flash at me and the girl.
"What is it?" I asked, smiling and looking at her camera.
"I want to ask if you still have powers?" She asked, making me freeze.
"Do you want me to tell you a secret?" I asked, she nodded.
"Can you say it to my camera though? I swear I will only show my aunty?" She said and then whispered "My mum's princess Anna of Arendelle"
I nodded.
"Thats fine" I said and then whispered so no one but Anna's daughter can hear "My powers are having a faze at the moment so I can't use them, even though I still have them"
She nodded.
"Thank you Mal!" She said and pushed back through the crowd.
I stood back up to have all the press ask questions again about what she asked me; this is going to be a long day.
