running around town
wearing her crown
smiling as if happiness was her only emotion
running around town
the birds flying by
are going past in slow motion
the ocean sings to her
as if it's saying hi
she waves back
seeing her reflection on the water
she has no intention of saying goodbye
everything's just a blur
as the ocean hugs her
as if she was its daughter
and she smiles
as the ocean steals her crown
and she smiles
as the ocean pulls her down
and she smiles
as she drowns.
