DAY 8

Arjun POV:

I hung up on the call, after 30 minutes. Well practically we didn't speak, she being shy after the simple confession and I being so absorbed in that little moment. I just listened to the calmness, jingling's of her bangles and after few minutes soft snore indicating me my angel is wrapped in her beauty sleep by now. I missed her the moment my car left the lane of her home, I had this possessive streak painted on my mind making me dwell on her thoughts. If it is up to me, I would have dragged her now to home, but I don't want to scare her with this extraordinary feel. For heaven sake, she tumbled on my arms just 2 weeks back and now all I want to do is encage her in the same arms. Once this wedding is cancelled I will give her ample time to accommodate with me and family and then will get her married to me. I by no way I will urge her to get settled with me soon and scare her.

What now? That is one question toping in my brain shunning all other thoughts. Her wedding is fixed on next Monday. Before the sun rays arise on next Monday, she should be relived of all the troubles and this asshole from her life. I am damn sure she is not willing in this marriage if it is so she would have never accepted for any of my date proposals. There is so much more to the wedding than it meets the eye. To top it that swine is still strolling Sydney, the one good thing he has done the whole life making my Chand free to go anywhere with me.

Deciding the next course of action, I bothered to make a call even though it is an ungodly hour.

"Mr.Mathur , Arjun Desai here" I called the same detective who at first worked on Chandini's history.

"Yes Mr.Desai. Do you require any more of investigation to be done apart from what Mr.Jadhav asked me to do?" he asked making me confused

"What did he asked you to investigate?" I asked clearing my throat.

"Well 10 days before he called and said that there may be a work for me to keep tab on Mr.Dhore but he asked me to work on it after his confirmation. But before 3 days back on one such midnight he called me saying he wanted all information's regarding Mr.Dhore's business ,his acquaintance with Ms.Sawant and her childhood." his answer made me to feel grateful for this idiotic buddy in my life.

"Yea I just wanted to know on the progress" I said managing the situation.

"Well it's going to take 5 more days to gather all the info but I will give them by coming Saturday" after his assurance I made my way towards Adi's room.

"Come dear man, what took you so long?" Adi asked working on some file.

"I came long before, just spoke with Mr.Mathur "I said sitting beside him

"Hmm yea, I called him to investigate on that Git after bursting at you on that day. Alas after the turn of events it entirely slipped my mind. But after meeting Choti I decided to run a thorough background check on her relation with him. Something is disturbing me from the day I met her. And I didn't say you because Choti may not like it when her boyfriend spies on her. Already we did a grave mistake man she may find hard to accept that, but if she knows this too you will have trouble in your little paradise. So I kept you in dark regarding it." Adi said making me give him a bear hug.

"I owe you buddy, for always thinking of me "I said making him chuckle

"Whoa hold on dumbhead I was thinking of my Choti and not you "he said trying to pull my leg.

"Ha your Choti is not just my girlfriend now, but my lover too "I said with a devilish smile making him scream his lungs out and dialling Anu's number.

After how, when and what's explained, Adi hung on the call with Anu and Jeej when I explained them I confessed my love for my Basanti.
