Previously: yamato spoke to Sasuke about how Sasuke felt whenever Hinata came by. Yamato suspected that Sasuke was in love with Hinata but Sasuke denied it and he left himself confused. In the end yamato knew that Sasuke surely had fallen in love with the hyuga girl but still hates her for it.

Sasuke was getting tired of being treated with hatred by everyone except Hinata. He didn't want her kindness. He simply wanted to be freed from that wretched prison. He didn't want the people to hate him, he didn't oppose going to prison due to their hatred because he thought it would ease their minds and maybe find it in their hearts to forgive him. But Sasuke now knew that even if he was in prison,it wouldn't satisfy them. They wanted him to suffer and feel the pain they felt. If only they knew how much Sasuke had gone through himself.....

Sasuke decided that he would give them what they want and he would accept their hatred in the form of torture on the condition that they would leave him alone when all of it was over and maybe find it in their hearts to forgive him.

Sasuke spoke to the sixth hokage about but the hokage didn't want to agree. The people held very high hatred for the uchiha boy and if kakashi were to let them torture him they might even come close to killing him or maybe it could end up the other way around. Sasuke assured kakashi that he would be fine, he was one of the most powerful shinobi after all and not to mention he was the reincarnation of Indra. Surely he could handle a couple of villagers. Sasuke also told kakashi that during the period of torture he would not fight back and he would simply have to indure the pain until the end. He just wanted to be free of their hatred.

After a really long time of convincing, kakashi agreed but also stated that Sasuke will be freed from prison once it was all over. Sasuke will have proven himself to be less of a threat to the village if he let them go through with it.

Two days past and Sasuke sat patiently at his prison, waiting for the next day to come when the villagers would show up with their weapons of torture. Sasuke wasn't worried. He was a strong shinobi. His body is so strong that he didn't even loose a little bit of weight due to his lack of nutrition for days.
Sasuke knew it was gonna hurt but he kept telling himself that once it was over he wouldn't have to worry anymore.

But now he was worried about something completely different. He was worried about Hinata........he was worried that she would show up the next day and witness the hatred the villagers were gonna throw at him. He didn't want her to see the villagers whom she as a shinobi swore to serve and protect act so violently toward him. He wanted her to keep believing that they were worth protecting, but if she sees them with hatred in their eyes it could hurt her really bad and even affect the way she felt.

Sasuke simply hoped that she wouldn't show up.

The day for torture finally arrived and Sasuke was more then ready. He was ready to be freed. He didn't want to spend most of his life in a tiny wooden prison with only the hyuga girl to come visit him every time.

The villagers began to line up outside the wooden house and the rules were stated.

-Sasuke accepts to be tortured and therefore will not fight back.
-people are aloud to bring weapons but are not aloud to use any means of burning to injure Sasuke.
-Sasuke should only be attacked on his upper body.
-villagers should keep in mind that the wooden prison restricts chakra therefore using jutsu will not be possible.
-each villager will get a time of 5 min each to deal with their hatred.
-killing the uchiha is completely forbidden

There were about fifty to hundred people lining up outside sasuke's prison. Naruto and the others went on missions and therefore didn't know about the whole torture session. Hinata however was free and she was on her way to see Sasuke. Hinata didn't know why but she had a feeling something bad was going to happen. And in truth that was the case.
