chapter 3-love?

Previously:Sasuke wondered why Hinata visited him but later his confusion was partly cleared when Hinata explained that she was there because she cared.

It had now been two weeks and Hinata visited Sasuke everyday, bringing him food. Sasuke didn't care. Every time she was there he just ignored her and felt slightly irritated with her presence. His heart would beat a million times faster whenever he saw her and he didn't know why and he hated her because of it. He didn't like what she made him feel every time she smiled and showed him kindness. The way she blushed and stuttered. The way she dressed so simply and plain. It all drove him nuts. It was a feeling he didn't understand.He would never eat the food she had made. He simply left it where she left it. He didn't throw the food like the previous time either, he simply ignored the fact that there was food for him made by the pale hyuga girl everyday only for her to find it in the same place she left it the previous time. It hurt her to see Sasuke simply didn't care but nonetheless she always smiled.

Sasuke was sitting against the wall and doing his daily routine of nothing but staring at the opposite wall when yamato finally spoke up.... "Sasuke you do realise that Hinata gets out of her way everyday to come and bring you food right?" Yamato asked only receiving silence as an answer. Yamato sighed. "Look she's here for many reasons......one big reason is because she's in love with naruto and since you're naruto's best friend it's only natural for her to care for you and not to mention her extremely kind personality.........*sigh*...she gets into trouble everyday for coming to see you but she still doesn't care. Your well being comes before her own. I don't think it's fair that you're rude to her and you make her efforts seem like nothing..... Yo-" Sasuke cut him off. "-look just shut up! You don't understand anything about me and neither does she. There's no way in hell she would care for a criminal and even get in trouble for it. She must be up to something and I don't trust her one bit. I hate that girl!" Sasuke shouted in anger and a slight bit of sadness in his voice.

"Are you simply saying that because you're afraid?" Yamato asked Sasuke firmly. Sasuke's eyes widened at yamto's question but quickly turned into a frown. "Just what do you think I'm afraid of?" Sasuke asked as he feels anger reach his cold heart. "....afraid you'll eventually learn to trust her and afraid you'll get too close to her but you know you can't get too close? Maybe you're afraid she cares for you and it that very fact scares you and causes you to go into denial. Maybe you just hate her because she's so kind and you think she shouldn't be showing you kindness due to your actions. Maybe you were rude to her to make her stay away from you but eventually that plan backfired and you simply felt more anger toward her. You hate her there's no doubt about that, but your hate comes from different reasons. You hate her because you're falling for her and you're scared of getting too close because you already know she loves naruto. You hate Hinata because she's so perfect and every detail about her gets your heart beating faster but you know she would never feel the same way.-"

"-no you're wrong. I hate her for reasons I'm not so certain of. If there's one thing I'm sure of its that I'm not falling for that weak and pathetic excuse for a hyuga. I simply don't like her. I hate everything about her. From her hair to her feet, nothing about her attracts me to her. She would be the last person I would wanna live on earth with. I don't really know why but that's just what my heart says. I hardly know her yet my heart is affected by her so much. It's a really irritating feeling." Sasuke stated with venom in his voice.

"Yes, and that irritating feeling is love sasuke." .....sasuke's eyes widened as he looked down to the ground with later a sad expression. He had nothing to counter yamato's statement. He didn't know what else to tell yamato. He just kept quite as his heart started beating faster.

"What makes you think I'm in love with her?" Sasuke asked calmly. "I saw it in your eyes when you saw her walk through that door. I could sense you noticed she wasn't like the others. She was different and you felt a slight bit of distrust after taking in all the facts. But after these past few days you began doubting yourself and you started to loose the distrust you held toward her and thats when your heart felt something and began to soften. Your heart knows you've fallen in love with her,its too late to change that fact. You hate her because she's the one you love and yet she loves someone else. Your heart asks the question 'why her? Why does she have to be so beautiful? Why does she have to be so kind? Why does she have to care?' It was practically love at first sight. She resembles the only woman you ever loved......your mother. But now it's more then that."

Sasuke looks down as he smiled a sad smile. "You know I'm not sure anymore. I don't even know what love is. My heart was always full of rage. I don't remember the last time I felt love in my life. Sakura always told me she loved me and naruto always told her he loved her and I always guessed that love was simply one hack of an irritation. And I guess simply telling the person you love them doesn't mean it's true. It could take someone no hard work to say those words and it could take others years to bring themselves to confess their love. I simply didn't see the difference. They were just mere words. But I guess as we grow older those words become everything and we hold it with us till we die. I don't know if it's love I'm feeling right now. But I do know I hate the hyuga girl but at the same time I..................care for her. It's a feeling I can't explain." Sasuke said softly.

Yamato smirked and he knew he was right all along. Sasuke uchiha was in love with someone for the very first time and not just with anyone......with Hinata. Sasuke's heart must have gone really soft if he can all of a sudden feel love. Yamato thought to himself. It was sad. Sasuke fell in love with the girl who loved his best friend. He still denied it but in the end the facts were still stated........

Will Sasuke finally realise his feelings?

I mean we know he's in love but does he know?

Sasuke:I'm not in love baka!

Me:yeah right! Keep telling yourself that.

Sasuke:don't vote for her she's just gonna make the story end up being crappy coz if I don't love the hyuga there's no point in making a sasuhina story.
