Chapter Fourteen - Long Live The Queen

Chara

"Hm... An interesting plan," I murmured as the figure disappeared. I blinked and internally shrugged. Peeking through the window, I whispered, "Coast is clear."

After plucking "Flowey" from the ground, I simply threw him through the window, the glass shattering.

"Chara!" he whined, his lips puckered. "I could've just went through the ground!" I chuckled. "I don't want to be the one to get wounded by glass, now would I?" I said, smirking. "Besides, I'm sure none of those idiots heard, Azzy." He sighed as I leaped through the broken glass, a few tears appearing on my sweater.

"Asriel, do as you must," I commanded. He nodded and disappeared into the floor.

I prodded around, looking for Mother's room. If it were the home I knew back underground, this would be much easier.

As I wandered around, I made sure to take note of the new surroundings of this home. I needed to memorize the patterns so I can have an advantage the next time I decide to come back here.

Eventually, I stumbled upon Mother's room as I heard the sounds of fighting coming from a nearby room. I growled. "Asriel, you idiot! I told you to- Oh forget it!" I muttered to myself before quietly opening the door.

I accidentally slammed the door shut and watched as Mother jolted awake. I proceeded to lock the door as I heard the ruckus in the nearby room grow louder.

I turned back to Mother after locking the door. I smiled. "Hello, Mother..." I greeted eerily. "Oh, hello, my child..." she yawned as I slipped into the shadows. "Why are you up this early..? Did you also have a nightmare?"

"Yes, Mother," I answered, putting on my fake cheery voice. I held the hidden knife in my pocket tightly. "Well, come here, my child, and we can talk about it." I shook my head. "Mother..." I cooed, "Come to me instead..."

She smiled at me. "Of course, my child. Anything for you."

I laughed. "Good..." I whispered, as I slowly pulled out the knife.

"Get back here, you idiots!" Flowey screeched.

Friendliness pellets and vines launched from all directions. The room looked really chaotic.

You barely ducked at an incoming pellet as Frisk was hit by a vine. You looked back at Frisk, who was looking battered. Dodging more pellets and vines, you made your way towards Frisk.

"Frisk," you whispered as soon as you got to them. "Hide behind the bed or get in the closet and call one of our friends!" Frisk nodded and did as you asked.

More pellets and vines came from most angles, and you managed to make it past those attacks, but only to get hit by a single friendliness pellet. The familiar hot, searing pain arose in you, and you screamed as you could just feel your soul beginning to break.

Flowey looked amused. "Aw, what's wrong, pal?" he asked sarcastically. "Did you get hurt?" Flowey giggled and friendliness pellets surrounded you from all angles.

You glanced toward the bed and watched as Frisk ran toward Flowey, only to see a vine wrap around their leg. They tripped and landed with a thud as the vine slithered up their leg and to their waist.

"Ah, ah, ah! I don't think so, Frisk," he scolded teasingly. Flowey giggled and turned to you. "Now... DI-"

The door burst open, and there stood Chara, knife in hand. Dust was on their clothes. "Asriel, it's been done," they say, smirking at how handled it seemed like it was. "Let's go. We don't have the time to bring the dust to Father." "But... What about these two idiots?!" Flowey questioned.
