Right as you finally arrived, still thinking about your strange encounter with the handsome man named Edward Nygma, Dick came running out to search for you.

"You're late! Did you get lost or what?" The man exclaimed as he tackled you in a hug.

"Well... actually yes. I did get lost..." You mumbled sheepishly, looking at your shoes to try to hide your embarrassment.

"Bruce and Alfred were getting worried about you. Alfred even threatened to not cook dinner until you got here." Grayson said.

You chuckled, "They're such worrywarts. They do understand I can take care of myself and I'm a grown woman, right?"

Dick was like a little brother to you, Bruce was like an older bossy brother, and Alfred was a father figure when your parents weren't around. The other Robins, being Jason, Tim, and Damien were not around very often when you were. They were supposed to be at dinner tonight, but you highly doubted that you would be graced with their presence.

Dick and you went inside to get washed up for dinner, as Alfred always insisted that you do, Bruce met you at the door with a bearhug and ruffled your hair. To your surprise, all three of the other boys were there too. You remembered that Bruce had adopted all three of the younger boys not long after the two of you got out of highschool. Dick had been adopted by Alfred at the age of 4, when Bruce was 7. You had grown up around this family, and loved them like your own.

Throughout the wait for dinner, you talked to the younger boys about school, while Dick and Bruce helped Alfred cook and clean up. You learned that Jason was in his Junior year and had a perfect 4.0 GPA, and even a girlfriend. Tim and Damien were both in their Freshman year, Tim following in the footsteps of his older brother, while Damien was apparently quite the troublemaker, having gotten out of detention right before you had arrived. Soon, the four of you were called into the dining hall to eat.

Halfway through dinner, however, there was a call for help for this broken city of Gotham. All four of the Robins started arguing about who should go with Bruce, before it was decided that Dick would go since he didn't have to go to school in the morning.

Bruce and Dick got dressed and left you with Alfred and the three mildly angered boys. "Would you like anything, Madam (Y/n)?" He asked politely.

"Do you mind if I borrow a room to change in? My costume is in my bag. Or do you want help to clean up?" you questioned, not wanting to saddle the older gentleman with all the chores.

"I will get the young men to help me, there is a guest room upstairs and to the left, I assume you will be staying with us for the weekend?" Alfred said, smiling softly.

"I don't know, I still need to keep an eye on my house. I'll leave my bag and Krys in there for the time being though. Thank you very much, Mr. Alfred." You smiled back before traveling upstairs to change and sneak out through the window.

***

(S/h/n) fights crime, as opposed to the (Y/n) (L/n) that most people know.

You hunted down the scene of the crime, good thing you listened in on the conversation between Commissioner Gordon and Bruce. You finally found it, an old bank near the outskirts of town, but no sign of the Dynamic Duo or the criminal. Suddenly, you heard someone behind you, who placed a cloth over your nose and mouth, and before you could react, you get a whiff of a strange smell. 'Chloroform!' was your final thought before the world went to black.

Trigger Warning

When you came to, you were tied to a chair facing an audience. The Riddler, your arch nemesis, walked onto the stage. Came in one hand, but a strange device that you couldn't identify was in the other hand.
