After a few days, you got out of the hospital and stayed at Wayne Manor, Bruce's orders. There was a TV in your room, so you turned it to the news.

A very annoying reporter was speaking, "(Y/n) (L/n), good friend of millionaire Bruce Wayne, was found passed out with minor head trauma after helping evacuate everyone from the Gotham City PAC center. The Riddler, who detonated the bomb, has not been caught, but police are investigating further. Stay tuned, Gotham City."

Of course Bruce and Dick found a way to hide your identity, as both of them knew who you were, but you were worried that The Riddler might connect the dots from what the woman said.

Bruce told Alfred not to let you leave the manor, unless it was absolutely necessary. Meaning, "she can't leave her room, on that floor, in that wing, in that half of the manor or so help me."

So there you sat, in your room with white walls and a beautiful bay window. Every time Alfred came to check on you and bring you whatever you needed, he would find you staring out the bay window without moving an inch. Alfred knew that trying to talk to you was impossible, as he had tried many times. At meals, usually at breakfast, he would bring you the daily paper so you knew what was going on in the major news. But, once he saw the continuously full plates that were left sitting where he had placed them, either Dick or Jason would come up and make sure you ate.

You never talked to any of them, unless you had to tell Alfred what you needed it, even though you usually left a fairly short list. Or you would excuse yourself to the bathroom, hoping that they would leave. You always sat in the window, thinking.

'What would've happened if I hadn't saved them?' You think. These thought would always cross your mind, the dark thoughts of what could have gone wrong.

Then your thoughts would always wander to Edward Nygma. The mysterious man who had managed to unintentionally walked off that day in the alleyway with your heart.

You had finally made a decision, and you swore you were going to follow through with it. A do or die situation. You couldn't hide your feelings anymore, if you tried, you were certain that you would explode.

It was time to eat again. Alfred came in with your lunch. Jason following behind him. Oh no...

"Is Bruce still here?" Your voice cracked slightly from lack of usage.

Alfred looked surprised for a moment that you had spoken. "No Miss (Y/n), he is gone for the weekend."

"Thank you Alfred." You went silent again and went back to staring out the window. A prisoner to your own little world.

As soon as he left and you knew he was on the other side of the building, you slid off the bay windowseat, and began to eat, it was your favorite sandwich.

"I know that look," Jason said, looking up from his studies, "you're plotting something. If you leave, I won't stop you. I won't tell Bruce that I let you either, just wait until I leave the room. You can go out the window, (Y/n). No one's out there."

You smiled at the seventeen-year-old gratefully, "Thank you for covering for me, I truly appreciate it."

He only responded with a nod in your direction, Now lost in the world of Pre-Calculus and strange equations.

Once you finished your food, Jason left. You got changed into an inconspicuous hoodie and jeans, and then carefully and artfully climbed out the window once you locked the door.

Now that you were on the streets, you could look for Edward. Even the mere thought of doing so made your heart start racing a mile a minute.

Of course, you weren't paying attention. So you walked right out into the street.

A squeal of tires.
Several screams, and you threw your hands out, hoping to minimize injury to yourself.
And then, nothing but absolute, stunned silence.

You heard gasps from the stander-bys. You opened you're eyes to see that the car was floating five feet in the air, before looking at your glowing (F/c) hands. You were the one causing this to happen.

You gently set the car down again, and ran. Ran until you got far away from the frightening scene. Ran until your legs gave out on you and you collapsed in i cold and dark place away from everyone, panting and shaking like a leaf.

'What has happened to me?'
