Ch. 5 Yuki's Past

Yuki and Sen made it in the bath house and it was late daylight. Sen fell asleep in the boiler room and Kamaji was sleeping also, snoring. Yuki walked in the boiler room and saw Sen was asleep hugging her clothes. As Yuki looked down at Sen, she couldn't help but feel bad for Chihiro. It didn't matter if Yuki returned to the human world, there was nothing left for her. But to Chihiro, it was a difference. She still had a mother and father and a new life ahead of her. Yuki grabbed a blanket that was nearby and placed it on Sen. Yuki looked at Sen for a moment then quietly left the room.

Hours went by and outside dark clouds came rushing in. It then started pouring and Yuki was out in the big field outside of the town. Yuki was far from the town but could see the lights in the distance. Yuki was on a small hill soaked as the rain came down heavily. Parts of the big field had big puddles that now looked like ponds. Yuki was trying to sniff Haku's scent or see him return, for he hadn't come back for hours. Yuki did catch a scent though. It was Yubaba coming back from her errand but Yuki ignored it. Yuki sensed that Yubaba wanted to see her and had no choice but to go to Yubaba.

Yuki had shook off the wetness off her pure white fur before entering the bath house. The bath house looked really busy this evening and everyone was either in a rush or was working hard. Yuki traveled up each level to get to Yubaba. While Sen and Lin were working, Sen saw Yuki walking off somewhere. She was about to call out to Yuki but Lin interrupted her asking her for a hand.

Yuki was close to the top and went up the same stairway that went in a loop, the same one she walked with Haku on. She reached Yubaba's doors and they magically opened for her. Yuki walked in, her paws hitting the shiny floors making an echo sound everytime her paws hit the floors.She reached Yubaba's office and Yubaba was at her desk signing papers and the three green heads were bouncing around and one of them rolled. Yubaba looked up seeing that Yuki was finally here.

"Ah Yuki you finally made it." Yubaba said as she stopped writing. "I haven't seen that Haku around. Do you know where he went?" she asked and Yuki shook her nead no. Yubaba sighed annoyed. "Ugh I can't stand that boy. Oh well I guess you have to do his assigned mission." Yuki just stared at Yubaba listening to what Yubaba wanted her to do.

~After the stink spirit leaves and everyone is celebrating~

Everyone was celebrating for getting so much money from a customer, the most money they ever got. It was all thanks to Sen. People were eating foods and drinking sake during late at night time. Lin and Sen were out on the wooden balcony eating dumplings. Sen was wondering where Haku and Yuki were. She hadn't seen them for a while.

~Back to Yuki~

Yuki had just finished with her job that Yubaba gave her and was sleeping outside of a room's balcony. It was night time and the full moon was out, shining on Yuki's white fur. The once big open fields outside the town looked like a sea that went on for miles. As Yuki was sleeping, in her dreams she remembered when she first met Haku....

~Flashback~

It was a cloudy day and there was a deep sadness. The sadness belonged to a teenaged girl who recently turned 17. She was at home lying in her bed alone. The house was quiet because everyone else was gone. Gone meaning never coming back. Gone meaning... dead. A year ago the girl's parents died in a car accident and just yesterday, her older sister died of a bad sickness. She was now alone and an orphan. The people in charge of the orphanage already accepted her in and checked in on her for the past few days. She would be leaving the next day.

The girl never packed. She just laid on her bed, didn't eat, and cried. She looked out her window and it was very cloudy, almost ready to rain. The girl left her house and started exploring her surroundings. Her home was nearby a little wood and would walk through there. She looked at her house. Her home was an average blue house that was one of the houses on the hill (ok doesnt that sound familiar? Chihiro and her family just moved into a new house that was blue and on a hill. What does that tell you? ^_~).
