Ch. 3 Sen, the New Worker

Once Yuki was finished with her meal she sensed that Yubaba called for her. Yuki then went up a different flight of stairs that would lead her to Yubaba's office. On the way she met up with Haku who was also summoned by Yubaba. Once they saw each other they both stopped and looked at each other for a minute. Haku had a blank stare on his face while Yuki looked back at him with a normal face. Without saying anything he turned to where Yuki was heading to Yubaba's office and walked down the hallways with Yuki following him.

Yuki and Haku were almost in Yubaba's room and all they heard was Yubaba talking to Chihiro. "From now on your name is Sen. Got that? Answer me Sen!" Yubaba shouted making Chihiro cringe. "Y-Yes ma'am" That was when Yuki and Haku were present in the room. "You called for us?" Haku said as both Yuki and Haku looked at Yubaba and Chihiro looked at the both of them. "This girl signed a contract. Set her up with a job." Yubaba said. "Right. What's your name?" Haku asked Sen. "Chihir- oh its Sen" She said. "Ok Sen follow me" Haku said as he and Yuki went off walking to the elevator with Chihiro following.

As they were in the elevator there was an uncomfortable silence. "Haku uh-" Sen said but was interuppted by Haku. "Don't talk to me. And address me as Master Haku." Sen was taken back from his comment and looked down at Yuki. "Yuki?" Sen said softly to Yuki who was between her and Haku. Yuki looked at her from the corner of her eye and had the same face expression as Haku did. Sen was taken back again and just remained silent.

They were soon out of the elevator and Sen followed Haku and Yuki down into the bath house and they were talking with the caretakers at the desk and everyone in the bath house was in the room to see what was happening. "I don't care if Yubaba gets angry at us." one caretaker said. "We're not taking humans" the other one said. "She's already under contract" Haku said making everyone surprised "What?" the care taker said. "I promise to work very hard." Sen said bowing. "We are not taking her in our department" one lady toad said. "She'll stink up the place" said another.

"Three days of eating our food and her smell will go away. And if she doesnt work hard... roast her, boil her, do whatever you want" Haku said. Yuki glared up at him from the corner of her eye. "Now get back to work. Where's Lin?" "What? Dont you go dumping her on me now" Lin said leaning on the wall. "You said you wanted an assistant" Haku stated. "Yeah give her to Lin" the caretaker said. "Sen get going" Haku said. "Right!" Sen said as she went to Lin. "Why are you picking on me? You owe me one Haku, you hear me?" Lin said annoyed. "Have a nice day" the care taker said trying to annoy Lin. Haku had already walked off and Yuki followed him to finish their job.

~With Sen and Lin~

Lin took Sen to ladies department and was getting Sen all settled in and looking for the right size for her work clothes. Sen was curious about something and asked Lin "Lin you know Haku?" Sen asked. "What about him?" Lin said plainly. "There aren't two of him here are there?" "Two Hakus? I can barely stand one" Lin said annoyed. "He's Yubaba's henchman so don't trust whatever he says" Lin said in a serious tone.

"Um what about Yuki?" Sen asked. This changed Lin's attitude. "What do you want to know about her?" Lin asked. "Um well she doesn't act like an animal. She acts like as if she's... human" Sen said. Lin was quiet for a bit. "That's because she was" Sen looked up at her surprised. "Really?" Sen asked. "Yeah she's a sweet girl even as a wolf." Lin said as she folded the rest of the work clothes and put them back in the cabinet. That was when Sen kneeled down and didn't feel good and Lin just rubbed her back.

~Back to Yuki~

Haku and Yuki were walking up stairs that went around a loop. Yuki was walking diagonally behind Haku. They reached Yubaba's office and she was going to go off on business and now Haku and Yuki were to look after the bath house while she was gone. Yubaba opened her balcony windows as Haku and Yuki stood side by side infront of Yubaba and the three green heads were on one side of her. When she started to leave Haku bowed his head to her along with Yuki and the three green heads. As Yubaba flew off the three green heads hopped away and Yuki turned around so that she could go to sleep. And Haku turned the light off before he was the last one out from Yubaba's office.
