Chapter 1

One Year Later...

Its been a year. One very long painful year since the boys were kidnapped. The adult wolves searched for ages, but never found them or any signs of them. It hasn't been the same without the boys. I miss Luke the most. He was my 'brother'. It's like a piece of me is missing, and now there is just a big hole in my heart.

I will find the boys though. All us girls will. We will be taken out tonight to turn for the first time as we are five years old now. I can's wait to get out of this small little den that allows no sunlight in. I can't wait to run free with the girls, and track down the boys and bring them home.

It is now eleven fifty five pm, meaning that we would be lead out into the forest for the first time soon. Sure enough, five minutes later, there was a click of the latch on the door, and in walked our parents in wolf form, stern serious looks on their faces. We followed them out into the caves corridor and out through the big oak doors of the cave. The girls and I stared in awe at the scene before us. A massive forest stood before us that probably stretched for miles. We took in the scent of the grass and trees, loving the feel of dirt and mud under our paws. As we walked under the big trees, I spotted a small creature scamper across the path in front of us. Before I could think about what I was doing, I launched forwards after the animal, only to run into someone's large paw. After I had recovered from my crash stop, I looked up and saw that I had run into my mother. I bowed my head in respect, inly for her to lick behind my ear and telepathically tell me it was all right, how it was only my instinct to hunt taking over.

Another ten minutes later, we stepped inside a large clearing with a tiny little pool in the middle shaped like the moon. The girls and I were instructed to form a circle around the pool. We were sitting in position waiting for the moon to reflect fully in the pool, when I looked over at Scarlett. She had a serious determined face. I looked at the other girls to see that they copied her facial expression.

This was it. We were finally gonna turn. We could finally go in search of the boys and bring them home.

The moon moved into the centre of the circle and a bright beam shot down from the moon to the pool. I was hit with an excruciating pain all over my body, like my bones were breaking and shattering. I howled out in pain as I felt myself grow and change shape. I screwed my eyes closed as a was hit with another wave of pain throughout my body.

Then al of a sudden the pain stopped. Just like someone hit a switch to end the pain. I opened my eyes to see that I was in a whole new form. Human form. I checked my reflection in the pool and gasped. I had pale skin, Blonde hair and blue eyes. The other girls checked their reflections and gasped as well. I looked up and saw that Isabella had sandy brown hair with dark streaks through it and hazel eyes. She was slightly more tanned than me too. Next I looked over at Scarlett. She had black hair and chocolate brown eyes, and she was extremely tan compared to us. Lastly, I saw Harper. I was shocked to say the least. She had fair skin, emerald green eyes and red coloured hair.

These were our human forms. But no sooner had we changed to humans, we were hit with another sharp pain through out our bodies. I could feel my bones breaking once again, but this time not as bad to howl out in pain. I screwed my eyes shut again to ease the pain. When the pain faded out I opened my eyes to see I was in wolf form, but I was fully grown, with wings! I was pure white all over with blue streaks running through it in stripes along my back. My gigantic wings where completely white with the odd blue feather here and there. I looked over at the girls again to see that they were also in their full grown wolf form with their wings.

Scarlett was completely black with the occasional white feather on here wings. Isabella was a sandy brown coloured wolf, with the odd dark brown streak and feather. Harper was a mixture of three colours. She had black, red and Sandy brown coloured fur and feathers.

We were fully grown werewolves!

The other adult wolves padded over to us and lead us back into the forest on our first hunt...
