Chapter 13

(Emma's P.O.V)

That's never happened before... I could never trap people in balls of water. I could only fire streams of water and shards of ice at them, with the occasional ice trap, like what Leprechaun was in. The shock on my face must have been reflecting what Buzz-lightyear's face looked like. To be honest, everyone in the room was shocked. I had never done this before.

I gently placed the ball of water on the ground beside the rest of the creepy boys. 'Now what?' I teleported the girls.

'Interrogate them. Ask them who they work for. Who sent them to follow us.' Isabella replied.

The rest of the girls nodded in agreement. I looked back at the group of helpless kidnappers with a steel like expression. I was taken aback when they were all still smiling at us. What the flip are they doing? Do they think this is funny? I started to get a bit irritated. They had the nerve to sit there and smile when I could easily finish them off.

I took a deep breath and regained my 'murder' like expression and composure. The girls were now standing by my side with the same look of murder etched onto their stone like faces. We meant business and we were gonna show it.

I knelt down beside the 'leader' of the group. Buzz-lightyear. I glared him down when all he did was smile back. "Who are you, and why are you trying to kidnap us?" I asked in a deeper voice then usual. It actually surprised me a little bit.

"I, Emma Miller, am Liam Payne." He replied.

How the flip does he known my name, my full name. I glared at him, getting even more suspicious as to what these boys were.

"How the flip do you know my name?" I hissed at him.

He just smirked, but to my frustration, didn't answer. Instead he changed the subject all together.

"The blonde over there, he's Niall Horan" Niall gave a small wave, smiling wide, even though I was ready to rip their throats out. "That's Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik". He said jabbing a thumb in their direction. They all waved and smiled enthusiastically back.

The girls and I just gave them weird uncertain looks. They were really starting to creep me out now. I groaned in frustration at their stupidity. Harper then spoke up,

"Okay, you princesses, stop beating around the bush and answer the damn question. Who the flip are youse?!" She almost screamed in frustration.

"We, Harper Smith, are like you, all of youse. We have powers and wings like you have, only we don't control an element." Zayn replied with an eye roll. Wow wonder what crawled up his but and died.

"Then what do youse control?" Isabella asked timidly. It wouldn't be hard for an idiot to figure out that she was a bit scared of them. I saw a flash of pain shoot across all of their faces. They looked pained by her scared voice. Were they hurt by the fact that she was scared of them? What the flip.

Niall gave her a small smile and answered, "We don't control anything. We can only slightly change the future. But even then, we cant do much" he said with a sad smile, talking in his strong Irish accent.

"So you control peoples future's?" Scarlett asked.

"We save lives, not control them..." Harry commented. He looked like he wanted to say more, but refrained himself from doing so.

"What do you mean you save lives! What are you?!" Harper yelled, getting agitated by their constant beating around the bush. Couldn't they just answer the simple question and be done with it?! I couldn't even think of anything or anyone who could do what they were saying they could do. Nothing in this world coul- Wait... The pack used to talk about creatures that protected over a group of werewolves from when they were pups.

If these boys were really them, we could be the wolves they have to protect. I was told that they were immortal, and lived for as long as they wanted to. Only they could say when they wanted to die.

I glanced around at the group of boys. They looked around the same age as us They cant be. We were never told that we had them. I looked straight at Liam waiting for his reply to Harper. He stared straight back at me, boring holes straight through my soul.

"Were guardian angels... Your guardian angels..."
