The girls are all 18 in human years and 5 in werewolf years. The guys are 19 in human years and 6 in werewolf years.

(Emma)

I woke up the next morning with a pounding headache and in human form. I sat up and noticed that I wasn't in the nest in my den. I was in a human bed, while wearing clothes. I looked to my right and saw that the girls were on there on beds with clothes on as well.

I tried to think back to last night but I couldn't remember much about going for a hunt in the forest. I stood up and wobbled over to the girls and shook them awake. They sat up and looked around, with confusion written all over their faces.

"We're in human form, this is where we will sleep from now on" I said to the girls.

Wait. I can speak!!

The girls started at me in disbelief. I didn't believe it myself. I was talking like I had been talking for years.

"Wait. If we can talk, then we can go look for the boys and act like normal humans!!" Isabella squealed.

"We can communicate now too" Harper pointed out the obvious.

"Well done Einstein. We didn't know that" Scarlett sarcastically stated.

"We should leave now, so that we can find them as soon as possible!" I said already plotting a plan to escape the cave without being caught. "Tonight, we will leave when it's midnight. That way everyone should be well asleep by then".

"Right. But first I need food, I could eat a horse" Harper exclaimed.

"To the kitchen!!" Isabella and Scarlett shouted in sync.

I shook my head and followed after them and into the kitchen...

TIME SKIP (eleven fifty five pm)

It was five minutes until we would escape the cave and go in search of the boys. I was extremely nervous of what was beyond the forest, and I could tell the other girls were nervous too. We had no idea what was beyond the woods and what dangers might lye ahead, but we had to find the guys. We missed them too much.

I couldn't wait to hug Luke and then we could do our groups' routine of sneaking into the other's room to hangout. I miss having the company late at night.

I was shaken from my thoughts by the girls rises from their beds and walking towards the door of the room. I turned in my spot to look at the clock on my beside table and saw that it was indeed midnight. I jumped up out of bed, eager to hit the road, and slipped on my converse and quietly sneaked out the door and into the corridor and into the kitchen. I placed the neatly folded note on the table, explaining that we were looking for the boys and for the pack not to worry about us.

We slipped out the big oak doors and into the garage. I picked up a random set of keys of the counter. We were taught how to drive earlier today, and we learnt pretty quick how to drive. I clicked the button on the little set of keys and watched the cars intently for a flash of lights. There was an orange flash from a car three bays over. We walked over to the car and saw that it was a gun-metal grey, dual-cab V8, Perfect.

I really liked this car, as I chose to drive it earlier today for practice. I slipped into the drivers side while the girls filled the other seats. I twisted the key in the ignition and waited as the car roared to life and warmed up. I reversed out of the garage and started our journey down the road into the forest.

I looked over at Scarlett, who was in the passenger seat beside me. "Where to first?"

She was silent for a moment, thinking long and hard about her answer, before replying with "I think we should book a room in a nearby town and get used to blending into crowds and acting normal, then think about our next move".

I nodded my head in agreement. That sounded like a plan.

We had been driving through the forest for about half an our, when we finally reached the highway. One way said thirty kilometres to Mistlyn and the other way said fifty kilometres to Glassacre.

"Which way now?" Isabella asked.

Scarlett just shrugged.

"I think we should go to Glassacre because its the furthest away from the pack, and if you were to kidnap someone, you would try and go as far away from the crime scene as possible, so we might find clues". Harper explained.

I widened my eyes and raised my eyebrows at Harper, as did Isabella and Scarlett.

"What? Now that I can read I've read a few investigation books lying around the room." Harper shrugged.

"To Glassacre it is then" I replied, turning to the right onto the highway, heading for Glassacre.

An hour later, we arrived in a tiny little town, with old broken buildings and a small roadhouse with a mini mart inside it. Across the road was a motel, with letters falling off the sign. It looked extremely scary from the outside. But it was all we had for somewhere to stay for the night.

I indicated into the stingy little set up of a motel room, and parked in a free spot. Sighing heavily, I exited the car and grabbed my bag from the back tray of the ute, the girls doing the same. We silently made our way over to the front doors of the motel, pushing them open with a slight creak and the chime from a bell over head.

On the right was a small desk, with an old man behind it, smoking a cigarette. I waltzed over to the counter top QED cleared my throat.

"Ahem. Hi, we would like to book a room with two double beds please." I asked kindly, hoping that we would end up in the same room.

"Ahh, yes. We have one room left. Room... 3. Go down the corridor and it's the last door on the left." The guy said back with a nod while passing Isabella the rusty old key.

I handed him the money and thanked him before we all made our way down the corridor like he said. Sure enough, the last room on the left had the number three painted on the wooden door in gold paint.

Isabella unlocked the door and swung it open, the door hitting the wall with a light thud. The room was lit with a small lamp inbetween the two beds that were placed side by side in the middle if the room.

"Right, I guess me and Scarlett will share one bed, and you and Harper can share the other" I said to Isabella. She nodded, and I grabbed my clothes and toothbrush to go get changed and ready for bed.

I entered the bathroom and fumbled around boi fly in the dark for a light switch. Once I finally located it I flicked it down, and a dim light flooded the bathroom. I looked up and straight ahead, about to take a step into the bathroom when I froze mid step.
