Chapter 4

Jerome's POV:

Nic jumped at least 3 feet in the air when the door opened.

I pat her back, "Geez Biggums don't worry about it. It's like the door has never opened."

She scowls, "Very funny."

I pretend flip my hair, "I know, flawless."

We just sit there for a moment then burst out laughing.

"Save it!" A loud voice boomed.

"Just don't hurt me." I smaller voice whimpered.

"Welcome your new cellmate!" Jason laughs.

He throws in a girl.

"Ma-Maddie?!" Nic stares.

"Ya she's useless to me." Jason adds and walks away.

"Maddie you ok?" I ask.

She sits up, "Ya I'm fine."

"So how'd you get here?" We ask.

"Snooping." She replies.

"How could Jason just ditch you like that?" Mitch asks.

"Dunno?" She shrugs.

Jerome hugs her closer, "It's ok, your safe with us."

Maddie's POV:

I have followed the plan so far.

They are feeling sympathy for me.

"So what were you trying to figure out?" Mitch asks.

I jump, "Oh, uh. I was trying to find you guys."

They stare at me.

"Well you found us." Jerome smiled.

"Yup it's like we were playing a scary game of hide and seek." I laugh.

"So how's life been?" I break the silence.

"Well me and Mitch got stabbed." Nic sighs.

"But doesn't Ty know that you can feel the pain for Mitch and Jerome?" I ask.

"Ya but he wanted to know how it works." Mitch says for Nic.

He slumps back, "Sorry Nic."

"It's fine Mitch, I was going to say that anyway." she smiles.

How are they happy?

I'm going to fine out Nic's secret.

Jason's POV:

"Maddie your coming with me!!!!" I scowl.

She fakes a sigh, "Alright, I'll see you guys later."

I drag her out of the cell and out the door.

I slam the door and unlock the handcuffs.

She rubs her wrists.

"What did you find out?" I ask.

"Well nothing yet." she replies.

"Well you need to explain that to Ty." I sigh.

"Ya but he should understand." she says.

"Ok so you will find out tonight, right?"

"Yup I'll try."

"Alright go eat." I smile.

"Thanks Jason!!" she hugs me and plants a kiss on my cheek.

She runs off and I sigh,"No problem."
