Chapter 5

Mitch's POV:

I sit on my bed tapping my foot against the floor.

It's about midnight and I can't sleep.

"Mitch, quit your tapping." I hear a whisper.

"But Nic I can't sleep." I whisper back.

"Do I need to sleep with you?" She sits up.

I sigh, "I don't know."

She rolls off the bed and lands on her feet.

She then motions her arms for me to slide into the bed.

"No you go by the wall." I say.

"But I get up earlier then you." She whines.

"I want you to be safe." I insist.

"Fine." She gives in.

"Plus, wake me if you have to." I smile.

She smiles and crawls into the bed.

I shiver as her cold arms touch my skin(no dirty thoughts. Nic is fully clothed. And well Mitch is wearing pants.).

I hug her to keep her warm.

Shortly after I hear her breathing steady and she shifts and falls asleep.

"Night." I whisper.

*Dream*

"C'mon Mitch hurry!!!" Nic screams.

I sprint forward to catch up, "Im coming!"

I stand next to her.

Suddenly she collapses.

"Nic!!" I scream and run to her side.

She smirks and then falls limp.

"Did you want to die?!" I yell.

A angel comes from the sky dressed in the clothes my skin is wearing.

"Never Mitch. I was murdered. But all my life I have been depressed. I needed to be gone." she said.

"Nic but why? You could have told me." I yell.

"Hush Mitch. You will see me again when the time is right." she fades.

"Words spoken like and angel, by an angel." I sigh.

*Dream Over*

"Mitch? Mitch wake up."

I groan, "Just 5 more minutes."

"Mitch seriously get up."

I sit up and rub my eyes, "What?"

"You were talking in your sleep." Nic says.

"I was?" I ask shockingly.

"Ya you were saying stuff like 'Did you want to die?' I was worried so I woke you up." She replies in a hushed tone.

"Oh sorry did I wake you?" I ask.

"No I've been up for awhile." Nic sighs.

I wrap my arms around her, "What's wrong?"

"I feel like we will never get out of here." She says as she buried her head in the crook of my neck.

"Hey, you yourself said we'd get out of here. Right?" I say smiling.

"Right, I did but..."

I cut her off, "So you might have a dream later on that tells us. Remember?"

"Ya we will try as hard as we can." She smiles.

"That a girl!" I laugh.
