Chapter 3: A New Friend

*Mo's POV*

I was staring out the window of the pixelmon center, watching the mobs walk around searching for anyone who didn't find or build a shelter. that could have been us if we hadn't found this place. I don't like the night, especially when I'm alone.

***Flashback***

I was playing in the forest behind my house. I was around 4 years old (so about 4 years ago) and I'd lost track of time and it was starting to get dark. I was trying to find my way home but I ended up getting more and more lost and I was getting scared. Zombies started moaning and skeletons made cackling noises but not anything else... Yet. I didn't have any tools either so I just continued to wander. I soon began to feel like I was being watched, I kept checking behind me but I didn't see anything. I took a few more steps and checked again and I saw 4 big purple eyes... Endermen, and I looked directly at them, and they were starting to get angry. One of them charged me. I screamed and ducked out of the way. I shouldn't of screamed because I could hear the zombies moans getting closer and it distracted me long enough that an enderman charged me again and pinned me against a tree. I screamed and felt a tear fall down my cheek. This is the end, I thought. I'm not really sure what happened next, but I saw a blur of black, navy blue and a diamond sword. They slashed at the mobs and I fell on my knees and I looked at the stranger. He looked about 6 so a year or two older than me. He wore a navy blue shirt under a black jacket and he wore black pants. It was too dark and I couldn't see his face. He walked over to me. "You ok?" he asked, his voice was quiet and sweet and sounded concerned. "Y-y-yea." I stutter. My voice shaky and I was crying. He looked around, "Do you know how to get home?" I shook my head. "There must be a village around here somewhere..." he muttered. That was when I fell asleep. I remember waking up in my room the next morning. I vowed two things that day. 1. That'd I'd never go out at night alone again and 2. I would find the boy who saved me and thank him.

***End Flashback***

"Mo?" I turned my head towards Ez. I could tell from her expression change that my eyes just screamed worry but she didn't bug me about it. "Yea?" I reply. She holds up a pork chop. "Want some?" I grin trying to push my worry away. "Yea, I'm starving!" She grins and throws me two.

***Timeskip because nothing important happens***

Within a half an hour of eating dinner, Ez fell asleep and I continued looking out the window making sure no mobs got too close to the building. I see the edge of a forest biome near by and I found myself staring at it. I hear two soft clangs on the ground and Ez's charmander and my bulbasaur popped out of their pokeballs. Charmander stared at me for a moment and then when to sit on Ez's bed protectively. I smile, Charmander was a good pick for her. My bulbasaur jumped up on my lap and looked out the window with me.

I looked back up at the forest biome and I saw a flash of budder (gold) and purple. I looked at my bulbasaur who clearly saw it too because it jumped off my lap and onto the window sill. I look back towards the plains biome, clearly the mobs saw it too because they're all going after it. I watch it flash through the trees again.

I look towards Ez who is still sleeping but her charmander is staring out the window full of curiosity. I look back towards the window again just in time to see it flash by again, but this time I also see an arrow flying towards it. Everything seems to go in slow motion, the arrow flying through hitting something because the blur stops and screams.

*??? POV*

It's getting dark and I need to get home to Ty. (Deadlox) He'd be wondering where I was if he woke up. Please Ty, just stay asleep until morning when I get home...
