Chapter 5: The Power Move Trio

Chapter 5: power move trio

*Ez's POV*

We'd been following Sky for while now and I hadn't seen like any pixelmon. Which was weird because there is supposed to be lots of pixelmon in the forest. I heard Mo sigh.

"I was really hoping to catch a pikachu." She whined.

"Yea, when first came here about a year ago, pixelmon were everywhere, but now it's like they vanished or are hiding. And the ones that we do see are extremely vicious and will attack people, it's very strange. Like something is bothering them." Sky said.

He seemed distracted while he spoke almost like something else was on his mind, and it wasn't his friend I could tell that much. "Hey Sky?" I ask.

He seems to snap back to reality. "Yea?"

"Are you ok? You seem distracted."

He pauses. "Everything's fine."

He was lying and let me say he was not good at it, but why was he lying? What was there to keep from us? I leave it be for now. Hopefully he'd eventually talk about it.

*Sky's POV*

I'm thinking about the weird dream I'd had earlier, about some things it said and about how all our stuff started glowing. Like what did it mean by 'we just need a few more special item?' What kind of special items? 'Then it'll be ready to test,' so many questions and I have no answers, that's really annoying. My thoughts were interrupted by Ez. "Hey Sky?"

"Yea?"

"Are you ok? You seem distracted."

I hesitate. I wanted to tell them about the dream, but I didn't want to worry them. It was just a dream... Right? "Everything's fine," I lie.

I hated lying to people. I sucked at and I think she knew I was lying but she didn't bother me about it. 'Thank Notch' I'd talk about it if it came up again.

*Mo's POV*

I was thinking about my bracelet, Ez's goggles and Sky's amulet and how they were glowing earlier. What did that mean? Do they or us have a strange connection or something? Does have to do with the future? I just don't know. I guess we'll find out eventually.

I wasn't paying attention to where I was going and I walked into a tree. I fell back getting ready for the laughs and smart remarks but they didn't come. I stood up and looked around, no sign of them. Of course I wandered off, I thought. I wanted to yell for them but I also didn't want something else to find me. So I started walking in the direction I think they went.

*Ez's POV*

The rest of the walk was quiet. Not like the good kind of quiet that was peaceful, no this quiet was eerie and made me nervous. A little while later we arrived at a big house in the side of a mountain. Sky tried to open the door but it didn't budge. He knocked on it.

"Ty! Let me in!" He called.

"Who is it?" A little voice called back.

"It's me Ty, Sky!" I could see him trying not to grin.

I heard clicks from behind the door, like levers and pressure plates being flicked and broken and the door opened up. Standing in the doorway was a little boy who looked about 6. He had dark brown hair that he swept over his left eye, his eyes were also dark brown. He wore a white t-shirt with gray pants and black sneakers. He also had these really cool obsidian headphones with glowing emeralds in them and a microphone that came down near his face also made of obsidian. He grinned. He was adorable, I felt myself smile.
