Two weeks later...

"So let me get this right... Your mate is Alpha Parker of the Hounds, you were seeing him when you both pretended to be humans, fell in love with him then left him after having sex with him after admitting you're an alpha" My beta Thomas says.

My head was resting in my hands, my father was sitting opposite me without uttering a single word.

"Have you ever thought how stupid of a thing that was?" He says

"I know I shouldn't have gone and pretended to be a human but-"

"Not that, you leaving him after he confessed to still wanting you" Thomas paces the office

"Why is it that you have to leave an Alpha? A known alpha who completely destroys everything he hates, destroys everything in his way of getting what he wants. If he comes barging through our territory lines demanding you as his, we will gladly do it to save the pack" My father says

"What!" Both Thomas and I yell

"Dad" I whimper looking up at him "It's not that simple for me to come to terms with"

Being his mate would mean giving up my pack, leaving a home I grew up loving, where my mum passed away. It's not something I can easily let go of

"Excuse me alpha, there's someone here demanding they see you" A small voice calls from the doorway "He's waiting outside his car with some of our men watching him"

"He's here" my dad says and stands up "He came alone?" He asks.

The girl nods her head and walks away from the open door.

My office doors were at the end of the hallway and opposite the office was the front door which was wide open. There I could make out my glorious mate standing in front of his black car wearing a black tshirt and jeans. His arms are folded making his muscles stand out and I drooled at the sight of him.

I can see the smirk on his face as he feels my eyes trail every bit of his body I have been missing these past two weeks.

"Oh baby" He whispers and those words reach straight to my core "I came just in time"

He could fucking smell me where he was standing and he could smell my heat coming. We already mated but I had to go and run. He was biding his time, waiting it out for when I need him.

I could sense him more now that he was near. He was angry and feeling all types of lust for me

"Alpha Parker, welcome" My father greets him outside

"Alpha Daniel" They shake hands

"No longer alpha my boy, make her see sense son" He pats Parker on the back. I tremble at the intensity of Parkers stare. He looked to my father with a smirk on his face before proceeding into the pack house and towards my office.

He held so much confidence in his stride, pack members moved out of his way. oblivious to the way their alpha was staring intensely at the one they are making their way for.

His brown eyes not leaving my body as I remain motionless. Sitting in a trance on the couch in my office. He stops at the doorway and closes the door behind him making me jump at the sound.

"Baby" He moans out

I must admit I'm scared of what could happen between us. I want to absorb every little thing that is Parker as he walks towards me.
