Chapter 1

Hey everyone this is my new story! I'm so excited about it. I've had this idea ready for a while I was just waiting a while to start it and I feel that now is a good time.

In case you don't know what a PR firm is below is the definition. I'll occasionally add to things about what they do throughout the story.

Public Relations (PR) firm - is a professional services organization, generally hired to conceive, produce and manage un-paid messages to the public through the media on behalf of a client, with the intention of changing the public's actions by influencing their opinions. (Wikipedia)

*Kellin's pov*

". . . Well that's all for today my lovelies. I'll see you all next week with a new video. Peace." I say into my camera as I end my next vlog. Now when get home I can edit and cut it all together so I can post it to YouTube tonight.

It doesn't take me long to edit and cut together my videos, and some effects to them, maybe like an hour or so. But now I have to hurry and get to school or I'm going to be really late.

I am a junior and I go to Ohio State, here in Columbus, but I don't live on campus. I have an apartment that's about a ten minute drive from campus, that I live in with my three other roommates. They are all featured on my YouTube channel as well, they love making the videos with me, their also supportive of it too. I actually make a decent amount of money from the videos that I post, it's takes a while to build up to the point where you can get paid to be a YouTuber and get sponsored, but it's definitely worth it.

I moved back here specifically to go to Ohio State. I was born in Detroit, Michigan, but my family moved to the suburbs of Columbus when I was about three. So I grew up here, but when I was sixteen my parents moved us back to Michigan and I wasn't all that happy about it, I missed all my friends and the atmosphere of Ohio so now I go to college here. My parents still live in Michigan but I don't get a chance to visit them a lot during the school year. But I spend the summers with them, so I guess that's good.

My family knows that I make YouTube videos, I've been doing it for around four years now. It started a year after my family moved up back to Michigan. It was the middle of my senior year of high school. I wasn't really in a good place mentally and I started watching YouTube videos of others saying how it was a good outlet for them. So I filmed a video of myself doing something and people liked it, and ever since I've been a YouTuber. My family's been in quite a few of my videos too.

So over the years I've been collecting many of subscribers and likes on my channel. I've even gotten many followers on my Instagram account and Twitter.

But with the damn traffic in the city, I'm late to class. It usually takes ten minutes, which now took me twenty. I'm a photo and film major, doesn't seem like a surprise when you think about it. I also minor in graphic design. My roommates go to Ohio State too. Although we all have different majors we all get along great.

My roommates are my best friends they include Jack, Gabe and Justin. Jack 20 and Justin is 21 as well and Gabe is 22. Jack is an fine arts major, Gabe is a math and literature double major. He's definitely the smartest in the group, and Justin is a music and theater major.

Justin and I actually went to high school together before I moved. Then when I found out that he's going to the came college I was so excited. We kept in touch when I left, but it wasn't the same as seeing him as much as I did. But now we all share an apartment and it's great.
