A week later

Vic hasn't texted me in a few days and we've texted every day since two days after he left Columbus, that was like two weeks ago now. So I'm getting nervous about him maybe he's finally gotten over me already and forgotten me. Or maybe he's realized that I'm not worth his time he said that he only has time for adults and his work. Maybe I really am looking and thinking to much. Kellin it's only been two days give him a break. I can't stop though all the what ifs keep me thinking and it's driving me nuts.

Ring!

I look over and I see something popped up on my screen, I pick up the phone and I see that I got a text, but it's not just any old text it's from Vic. I squealed like a girl. That's probably a little to much but it's been a couple days since he's texted me so I'm excited that he still knows I'm here and he didn't forget about me.

Vic: heyy cutie, sorry I've been busy with my work the last couple days. I miss you 😘

I blushed when I read that he called me cute.

Me: heyy yourself, but I think you're the cutie, not me. I miss you too 😘

I sent him the text and then I put my phone down and waited for him to respond to that. Then my phone rings again.

Vic: sassy, but no you're definitely the cutie here. But I do have a surprise for you.

Is he really arguing with me about who's cuter? It's so him and he doesn't know it.

Me: you're the cutie and that's final. What kind of surprise do you have for me?

There now he can't argue about that anymore. Can he? No he can't, but I don't think that'll stop him but he should stop.

Vic: I'm not done arguing about this until you know that it's you who is the cutie and we leave it at that. And that surprise is for me to know and you to find out.

Me: such a child, but fine I'll leave it at that only if you tell me about the surprise

I bargained with him I hope he tells me, cause now I really want to know about it since he's brought it up it's peeked my interest and I won't give up until I know what it is.

Vic: no I'm not I'm an adult, and if I tell you then it's not a surprise anymore, and whether you like it or not you're the cutie and I'm not accepting anything else so take it or leave it.

I smile at the dorky man sending me these texts. You would never have guessed that he could be so sweet and cute, when you all you see on the surface is a suit and tie wearing man who works in PR, but beneath all that is a cute and adorable Vic who doesn't want to admit it.

Me: you win I'll take it but only if you admit that your cute as well then I'll leave you alone about the surprise you have

I gave in to him. But how could I not.

Vic: deal, but only for you ❤️

I could practically hear him roll his eyes while sending that but it's sweet. And I really love that.

Me: ❤️
