Chapter 8

*Vic pov*

So it's my last day in Columbus, I have to get back to work Monday, today's Saturday. I'm going to be leaving in a few hours, but I texted Kellin, cause I want to see him one more time before I leave and we'll see what happens after that. He finished classes and he tells me that he's focused on his YouTube for the summer.

So I have been watching his videos more, I haven't told him that I have seen them but what's the difference. We're just going to hang around the coffee shop. I want to make sure we're on the same page, before I leave. I'm definitely going to miss him while at home, I've sort of formed a soft spot for him. but I think work will be a good distraction to get back on track, so I don't focus on him all the time, while at home. Now that I think about it I should get going he'll be there soon and I don't want to be late.

I climb into my car and drive to the Starbucks that we first talked in. After that I drive home to Cincinnati.

*Kellin pov*

I'm getting ready to go meet up with Vic, he asked me last night about it. He didn't tell me why though, but Justin as been on my case all weekend because I refused to tell him about the date I had with Vic a couple nights ago, I'm done with school now so I'm just going to be focusing on YouTube and Vic.

Justin thinks I'm obsessed with him, but that would be weird, I'm not, I just really like him. I don't know what to wear. It's only to Starbucks, but I still want to look nice for him. He really classy and all that shit. I think I'll just wear my black skinny jeans and my lavender tee, and my leather jacket, with my black toms. I look in the mirror to see if I'm presentable enough. I think that's good, so I head out.

"And where do you think you're going mister?" Justin says to me like he's my mother as I come down that stairs.

"One, you're not my mother Justin so stop acting like it, and two, I'm going to Starbucks" I tell him.

"I know your going to see Vic, don't act so innocent kellybear" he says.

"Don't ever call me that again Justin, but yes he's going to be there too" I say.

"Whatever, just one other quick thing before you go," he pauses and looks around.

"When do you plan on telling them, Jack and Gabe?" He asks.

I actually had to think for a few minutes, and I started to get fidgety. It's just I never liked making it a big deal, and announcing it to the world that I'm gay, I just sort of let people figure it out on their own. I remember when I gained the courage to tell my mother and the rest of my family, she told me that she already knew I was so it wasn't a big deal, and then Justin read something of mine back in the early years of high school and that's how he found out. So I never really had to make a whole coming out thing. But Jack and Gabe are think and oblivious to almost everything. I mean we've been living with them for about two and a half years and they still haven't figured it out.

"Alright, I'll tell them later, but I got to go" I finally said and then left Justin there.

I finally got the Starbucks and got my coffee when I saw Vic walk in and he smiled at me. I sat at a table and waited for him to get his coffee. Then he came over and sat down with me. We just sat there a while drinking our coffees before he started talking. It's a little awkward.

"You look nice Kellin" he complimented me.

"Thank you, you don't look bad yourself" I said with a wink.

"Well thank you, but I have to tell you that, it's my last day in Columbus and I'm heading home to Cincinnati after this" he says.

My mood immediately deflated.

"Oh" I said disappointed. "So this is like a goodbye coffee meet up"

"Hey, don't think like that, I still really like you and we can still text, but I have to get back to work" he tells me.

"Well I understand, not everyone can work at home on front of a camera" I joke, inflating my mood again.

"No not all of us can" he smiles.

"Well what does this make us, I really like you Vic, I'll miss you if you go" I tell him.

"I'm going to miss you too Kellin, but it's just what I have to do" he says sadly. Then there a few moments of silence.

"Hey, what don't you come with me?" He asks out of nowhere.

"What?" I say almost spitting out my coffee and choking.

"Yeah your out of school now, why not?" He says.

"I don't have the money Vic, yes YouTube pays me, but it goes towards rent, food and clothes" I say.

"Don't worry about the money Kellin, I have money" he tells me. Then he sips his coffee.

"I get that, but it doesn't feel right having you pay for everything" I tell him.

"Didn't you tell me the other day that you've wanted to go to Cincinnati, but never had the chance?" he asks

"Yeah, but-"

"No buts, will you please come with me?" He asks again.

"For how long?" I ask.

"However long you want to" he says while he grabs and holds my hand. Sending butterflies through me, making me blush.

"Alright, but I have to go home and do a couple things before I pick up and leave for a while" I tell him.

"Deal" he says and smiles at me.

He gets up and throws out this coffee cup and I follow only I still have coffee in my cup.

He leads me to his car- oh my god.

"This is your car?" I ask shocked.

"Yeeeahh, about that, um, I may not have mentioned that I'm loaded, and this is one of the few things a splurged on with my money" he says nervously.

I didn't know what to say my jaw as to busy hanging open still with shock.

"You going to get in?" He asks. I just nodded.

I carefully got in the car on the passenger side. I didn't want to break or bump anything it looked so fragile and I can be a bit clumsy at times.

"No need to be so cautious Kellin"

"Vic, I can't believe you, you have this nice of a car, how did you afford it?" I ask.

"I told you I'm loaded with money I have more money that I know what to do with, and I'm only 26, I earn a lot of money with my type of work" he says.

"You told me you work in PR" I ask.

"I do, but it's a private firm and this type of job makes a substantial about of money. Did you know that?" He asks me. I just shook my head.

"Where do you live?" He asks me.
