Chapter 2

*Vic's pov*

"Hey Fuentes, could you come in here?" I heard my cousin the boss say through my intercom.

"On my way" I say back.

I get up out of my chair and leave my office and head to the bosses office. It's on the next floor up, so I head to the elevator and then walk up to his office.

"Hey Nick, what could I do for you cus?" I say casually as I enter.

"Hey Vic I need you to go up to Columbus and do a project for one of our clients, Mr. Carlile" he tells me.

"No problem, I've done projects for him before" I say.

"Exactly, he requested you, you leave Friday" nick says.

"Ok, how long will I have?" I ask.

"Two weeks" he states to me.

"Got it, is that all?"

"Yes, you may go, I'll see you when you return" he says to me.

"Oh, what type of project is this?" I ask before I left.

"I'll let him tell you when you get there"

"Seriously?" I sigh.

"Seriously"

"Ok then bye Nick"

"Alright see ya" and left his office.

I head back to down to mine and continue to do what I was doing before I was interrupted. Which wasn't really anything special. But before I had the chance one of my co-workers knocked.

"Come in" I say without looking up.

"Well hello to you too, Mr. Serious" I hear Patrick say.

"Oh Patrick, sorry Nick gave me a new assignment that I need to prepare for" I say.

"Oh no worries, I was just going to let you know that we're all taking a lunch break if you wanted to join us" they said.

"Well I suppose I could do with a break" I tell them and I get up and go with them.

As I'm heading to the break room I can't help but to think about the new assignment that I'm going to be doing. I'm used to traveling all over Ohio for these sorts of projects I love doing these things. Why else would I have this job. I wonder what Mr. Carlile is going to need. He's had me do a few other projects for him. In helping him promote things. I have to up on all the new media to get the adds out so people know about whatever it is I have to promote for him.

~time skip to Friday~

Well today's the day I head up to Columbus and meet up with Mr. Carlile. I can't wait to start a new project with him. He's a friend of mine too, so we get along well. He's also more lenient with the deadline of assignments with me. So I guess that's a good thing I guess.

I packed all my things last night and now I put them into the trunk of my car and get in and drive. I mean I do have a nice car it's one of the few splurges I made. One being my penthouse and the other being this car. It's a new Mercedes-Benz SL-Class two door sports car it's a sliver color and it has a convertible top and I absolutely love it. I drive it every day to work. I have a VIP parking stop at work, but I have to leave now.
