Emotions are up, Emotions are down.
There's sometimes a smile, other times a frown.
Doubt and fear seem to have the best of you, but I'm here to tell you...
KEEP PUSHING & DON'T GIVE UP
Thoughts are crazy. family's a pain, and even more a mess.
Job let you go and you don't know you can make it on your own.
You're down to your end
About to throw in the towel, but I'm here to encourage you
KEEP PUSHING & DON'T GIVE UP
Don't give up for God has a plan for you.
Don't give up for your destiny's in front of you.
If you throw in the towel now everything will be in vain.
So keep pushing and striving let nothing stand in your way!

Look to the hills for that's where your help comes from.
Look to the hills for your help comes from the Lord .
He will not cause you to slip for he has his hands on you.
He's right behind you as grace and mercy follows you.
He's not one to leave you in your time of desperate need.
So keep pushing, striving, running & don't quit.
(This poem is dedicated to my friends Zanae Davis Smith, and Aaron Marshall who went home to be with the Lord last year. The pain was very hurtful, and left a deep scare on the inside of me. Of course now I'm at a place of healing and a place of victory but at that time i wasn't. I masked it with my amazing energetic smile, but after actually letting it out, and come to the surface this poem was a result. I love you my friends and I pray you are doing well in heaven. ) :-] <3
