Chapter 17

"Come on, you can't sulk around forever," Kaylie complained, "You've been sulking ever since Saturday. What's the problem?"

"You wouldn't understand," I mumbled putting my arm over my face, "And if I told you you'd think I'm crazy."

She rolled her eyes and sat down beside me, "Come on Ell. Try me."

I moved my arm off my face giving her a wary look, "You sure?"

"How bad can it be?"

I laughed, "Well let's see. I was put into Sophia Marsh's body for about 3 weeks. And I met Jayden Hunter. And Cole Brown. And they both were into me."

She gave me a blank look.

"Or well Sophia," I continued oblivious to her looking at me strangely, "And may I just say that Cole Brown is an A+ dick. Which I already told you, after he tried to kiss me. But you, along with everyone else, seem to be unable to remember. Except I'm guessing Sophia can too. But who knows."

I looked back up at Kaylie to see her still giving me strange looks.

"You think I'm crazy," I stated and rolled over away from her, "I told you that you would."

"Well," she said sheepishly, "I mean come on. You just told me that Cole Brown and Jayden Hunter and that they were both into you. You BFF's with Jayden's sister too?"

"Sophia, not me," I informer her rolling my eyes, "They thought I was Sophia. And actually yeah, not best friends with Alexa but we got pretty close. You're still my bestie though."

She got up and walked over to the door shaking her head, "I... I'm gonna... go say hi to Logan."

I wrinkled up my nose disgusted, "I really don't appreciate you have an interest in my older brother."

She laughed and walked towards the door, "Come one, I just think he's cute! And I'm only 17, he's 21. He'd never have an interest in me."

"Better not," I mumbled and then a pillow hit me in the face, "Hey!"

"Are you saying you wouldn't want me as a sister-in-law?" she feigned a hurt look, "That hurts Ellie!"

I smiled and turned over, "Get over it."

"Or, you know, you could marry my brother. He's always had a thing for you." She called walking out.

I wouldn't deny, Ty had always seemed to sort of have a thing for me. But lately he seemed more distant, and confused. I was wondering if maybe he remembered something. Maybe I was just crazy and had dreamed up the whole thing.

I heard a doorbell ring and then six voices chorusing, "I got it!"

"You never let me get it!"

"I'm the oldest!"

"I wanted to get it!"

"You don't live here!"

"Move!"

"Outta my way!"

I could hear them loudly pushing each other around and a few "Ow!"'s were shouted.

Eventually though I could hear the door being opened. And then Kaylie was shrieking and the others were yelling a bit too. I rolled my eyes wondering who was worth freaking out this much over.
