While he was recording a video~
"I'll go get the camera ready."
Taylor had invited me to do a twenty questions tag video for his YouTube account. I got everything ready in his room, getting myself comfortable on the bed. I smiled as I watched how Taylor got the camera ready. He looked for the best angle to shoot the video. After about five minutes, he finally came and sat down next to me.
"Hey guys, it's Taylor."
"And Lexi!"
"And today we're going to be doing the 20 questions tag!"
We started off buy answering a couple of the questions that appeared on the phone screen.
"Thing you cannot leave the house without?"
"My bandanas! I love them and I can't imagine my life without them."
I laughed at his answer. "Probably my iPod, I never leave the house without it."
"Favorite brand of makeup?"
"Cover girl, oh my god!" Said Taylor, acting like a teenage drama queen.
I burst out laughing and answered the question.
The video went on a little more, and it wasn't really interesting until I read question number 14.
"Do you want to get married later on in life?" I looked at Taylor and he looked at me. I saw his cheeks turn into a rosy pink color.
"What?" He asked, grinning and covering his face with his cupped hand.
"Why did you get so weird all of a sudden?"
"What are you talking about?"
"Yeah, you got all quiet and shy." I giggled.
He looked into my eyes. "Because I do want to get married. And I already pictured it with a certain someone."
I smiled. "Aw, who?!"
His face turned serious.
"What?" I asked.
There was a minute of silence until I got what was happening.
"Oh."
He laughed at my reaction. "So?"
"Want to help my dreams come true?"
I smiled and nodded. "I'd love to."
He grinned and kissed me for the first time ever.
The rest of the video was more like a boyfriend/girlfriend tag. He got all cute and cuddly and we wouldn't stop teasing each other.
That was the start of my long lasting relationship with Taylor Caniff.
