"Are you sure they're ok with me going to the family dinner?" I asked y/n nervously rubbing my palms on my denim covered thighs.
"Tay, I'm not sure. if mom and dad even like you. Probably because you haven't meet them but still," Y/n rubbed up and down my warm arms with her hand that wasn't on the steering wheel of the car we were driving.
"Wow, not helping," I nervously laugh and lace my fingers with hers.
"Babe, stop stressing out about it. we're only here for a few hours, with my side of the family for Christmas Eve. We are going to your parents house tomorrow for Christmas Day. I was just as nervous when I was meeting your mom for the first time," she cooed.
"I love you, y/n/n," I whisper.
"I love you too, Tay," she smiles giving me a quick smile.
"Maybe I'll reward you when you get home after tonight," she smirks and looks at me when we get to a stop light.
"Y/n, don't say that now. I want you now, not later," I huff deeply.
"Oh wouldnt you love that, to calm you down," she squirms comfortably in the car seat.
"Well by the looks of it, you would like it too," I rub my hand up and down her thigh.
"I'm not saying I wouldnt," she smiles as the light turns green. "But I'm not sure how I would fix my hair after it."
