Hopefully you guys have enjoyed the calm, not-so-eventful chapters because after this one, there wont be much of that anymore. hehe.

Louis had left early in the morning, drove silently home and crept silently into his room. Sighing once in the comfort of his own bed.
He had gotten a blinks sleep before his alarm had gone off and his bed now felt more warm and comfortable than ever.
He yawned into the back of his hand and stepped onto the cold wood of his room.
He padded into his bathroom, proceeding to brush his teeth and take a quick shower, putting on his school uniform afterwards.
He hurried down the steps and walked silently into the kitchen. His father had already gone to work but Charles was always nearby.
"Your father has informed me that he will need you to attend a business dinner with him this afternoon," Charles informs, setting a plate with bacon, eggs and a piece of bread in front of him.
Louis groans, taking a bite of the crunchy bacon.
Charles chuckles. "Mr. Tomlinson," he starts.
"Louis." Louis corrects.
"Well, either name, I've been noticing you've been absent a lot these couple of weeks. Have you joined an activity? Your father has been curious."
Not worried. Curious.
Louis chews slower, suddenly not hungry anymore. He tries to come up with a lie but figures he shouldn't.
He knows he cant tell the truth so he distorts it. "You remember Harry, right Charles?" Charles nods. "Well I've been hanging out with him after school. Is that a problem? Does dad not like it?"
"Well your father certainly doesn't like not know of your whereabouts. Why can't you two, uh, 'hang out' in the house?"
Louis rolls his eyes, a frown tugging down his lips. "It's boring in here, Charles. Come on."
"Alright, alright," Charles says softly. "Schools starting soon. Would you like a ride?"
Louis shakes his head. "I'll drive myself. Perks of passing your drivers test."
Taking another small bite of the bacon when he knows Charles is looking, Louis gets up from his chair, tucking it under the table and grabbing a water bottle from the fridge.
That should be enough for the day.
~~~
The dinner is fucking excruciatingly painful. Louis doesn't eat.
He recognizes the daughter of his fathers business negotiator as a girl from school. She's loud and obnoxious but not in an annoying way.
Too bad Louis likes calmer people like Harry.
Harry is all Louis can think about during the dinner.
His boyfriend.
His beautiful boyfriend who must be at home, probably watching cartoons or reading silently in a corner of his room, hopefully miles away from that dark, scary place his mind likes to go to.
The dinner draws to an end slower than preferred but it's over and Louis can't wait to get the hell out of this annoying suit.
Louis father says goodbye to the owner of the house and to his daughter, who had been eyeing Louis up and down throughout the entire dinner, Louis' father smirking at him.
The drive back home is silent. Not a comfortable silence like the ones he and Harry share, but a bitter and awkward silence that you can't break because the topic of conversation is in another dimension.
