prologue 

"Have you talked to Gabe today?" Sierra asked. I shook my head.

"Not since math, forth period. Why?" She stopped walking to stare at me in shock but put a mask on quickly.

She sighed. "You should text him. Johnathan and I spoke to him just a few minutes ago."

Didn't Sierra have basketball practice?

"Oh okay. Well I'm sure if he has something to talk about he will." Sierra gave me a sad look. "Are you two still together?"

"Yeah we are. What's this about?" My voice came out a little more defensive than I intended.

"I asked him if he was with you and he didn't really sound like he wanted to answer. Then he said something about being sexually frustrated. " My heart skipped a beat, in a bad way.

"Maybe you guys should just..take a break. You know how he is."

"Maybe." I unwillingly agreed. What in the hell? Sexually frustrated?! The fuck is that?

"Just..tell him to call me alright?" We hugged and went separate ways. Taylor approached me near the front school gate entrance.

"Have you talked to Gabe?"

I gave her a look. "Who else knows about my miserable love life?"

"Jahronay.. Hampton, Chris, Daveon, Darron.. The list goes on." Great.

"Can we just go to Wing Stop? I'm starving." Guess my attempt to change the subject worked, we started talking about food instead.

5 minutes into our journey to get some wings Taylor brought him back up again.

"What happened this time?" This time. It's always something going on with one of us yet we always get back together. We've been on and off since 7th grade, but inseparable ever since.

"He's sexually frustrated? What does that even mean? Horny?" My IQ is pretty low when it comes to dirty jokes and what not.

Taylor laughed throwing her head back as she struggled not to drop her purse from her shoulder.

"No. It means he's pretty much cranky from not having sex. Is he a virgin?" I nodded.

"Oh. Gosh well..uh.." She clamped her mouth shut. I didn't know what to say either, that ended the conversation until we reached Wing-stop.

We ordered and grabbed a booth close to the window. My phone vibrated in my back pocket scaring the shit out of me. I unlocked my phone, Text from Gabe <3

I scoffed. Taylor glanced at me with sympathy but I glared hard at my phone screen.

how was your day gabe?

great, wbu?

cool. Hey I gotta question for you..

He took a few minutes to text back this time, noted.

still sexually frustrated? I'm sure some girl at that school would love to help you with that .

I slammed my phone back on the table, anger boiling all the way to my toes. How could he just up and tell Sierra something like that? He knows I want to wait and he told me he did too!

Taylor touched my arm, "It's okay Kelly. You can do better." angry tears fell down my cheeks, God I'm such a baby. I need to suck it up and get over him. My phone vibrated once, then twice.

A part of me was wishing he would say he was high and didn't know what he was talking about and that he was sorry but he wouldn't. He doesn't do pot. Damn.

 Kelly it wasn't like that..

Oh really? You know, if you feel that way why not just stop asking me out so you can satisfy your needs with some other girl since I won't.

My hands felt tired from argument texting. I shouldn't be with a guy like him..but I need him..

I'm sorry I'll just let you go so you can get some other guy to date you.

Is he serious?

Sierra said to call her.

  After that last text I just turned off my phone. No nee to try and listen to music if every time I unlock my phone a message is going to pop up.

"Thanks for going out to get something to eat with me today Taylor."Taylor waved from her fence,

"No problem. It's Friday night though Kelly go have some fun this weekend well tonight anyway because tomorrow... IS THE ONE DIRECTION CONCERT!"

I chuckled. "Okay see you tomorrow Taylor. When your done getting dressed just head over to mine then we can leave."

She waved again then disappeared form sight. I went straight to my bedroom to take a well deserved nap.
