Chapter 6

Niall

"Hey lad, hello Zoey!" Louis smiled at us from his spot on one of the beach chairs with Melissa in his lap reading a magazine.  

Mel waved too. "Hey Niall, Zoey."

Zoey gave them both hugs, set down her towel and dove in the pool. She's been mad since we left our room. Not that I'd blame her but I'm doing this the right way so she'll just have to wait.

Louis grinned. "So she has no clue eh? Nice one Niall."

Melissa clucked her tongue disapprovingly and smacked Louis with her magazine. "Niall don't joke just yet. She really is anxious for this moment."

"I know.. " I ran a hand through my messy hair.

Zoey came back up. She swam gracefully to the other side of the pool. Her hair covered most of her face but even that couldn't hide the emotion in her eyes that I see so clearly.

Sadness.

"Louis. I'll be back in a little while I have some phone calls to make to.. management." I said slowly. I knew Zoey was trying to ease drop from all the way on the other side of the pool.

Louis caught on quickly. He winked. "Go mate. We'll hold her down."

What is he doing now? I peeked from the side of the pool as Niall said something to Louis but the only thing I caught was call... management. Management? We came all the way down here to hang out with them. And he's seriously worried about management?! He came over to give me a swift kiss on the forehead before leaving the pool area all together. Where is he going?

Maybe I shouldn't have been so mad earlier, I just assumed he would fess up and ask me to be his girlfriend. But here I am swimming alone, and Niall's missing.

Zayn, Adriana, Kelly, Harry, Liam and Bridget came down to the pool not much longer after Niall left. We swam and talked but my mind was on Niall. How could he just leave?

The guys are sitting on their towels playing cards while the girls and I sit in the jacuzzi and talk, well besides Melissa she's the only one sitting on the edge with one foot in.

"So I jumped out the closet and he screamed but his face got all happy." Adriana grinned happily taking a peek at Zayn who was looking at her too. She blew him a kiss and he pretended to catch it and put it in his pocket. Then Louis threw a card at his chest so he had to turn back around to take his turn.

"That's so cute Adri! Do you guys wanna know how Liam did it?" We all giggled.

"He kissed me. And he stuttered a little too. It was so cute. And he was like there's no one else on this planet nor solar system that I would rather be with, will you be my girlfriend?"
