I got all the way to my car, got in and buckled up and just broke down. I slammed my fist repeatedly against the dashboard cursing out and screaming. I shouldn't have gone off on Louis, he's just watching out for Harry the boy I keep screwing up with. This is my fault. I bet right now Louis is explaining to Harry why I've been going out and not telling people where.. I can only imagine what Zoey is going to say.

My phone vibrates again but this time it's Joy.

I wiped my face and checked my make up before replying.

Great, so I'm leaving to hang out with my ex while pretty much looking like a heartbroken dramatic teenager who's PMSing. Not to mention I'm sure Gabe will notice my eyes even if I redo my make up and Joy will not stop asking me questions about it until I tell her.

We're not together anyway so it doesn't matter..

My phone vibrated two more times but I just wanted to wait until I got there. 25 minutes later, even though I drove slow on purpose so I wouldn't have to be back at the house with everyone soon, I didn't kill much time. But I don't see neither of their parents cars.

Obviously someone is home though, the front door is unlocked. Gabriel. I chuckled to myself and pushed the door open going inside. The living room lights aren't on either. I dropped my purse on the couch quietly and proceeded to scare him senseless.

I reached his door which was the only one with lights on under it and grinned. I can't wait to tell Joy about this when she gets back home, she's going to die of laughter like I'm about to do. With one more step I twisted the doorknob and busted in his room to -

My eyes burned with tears and widened at the sight. Then I saw the girl and really couldn't understand.

Kaylie? What the hell?!

Kaylie's eyes widened in horror. 

"Oh god.. Kelly I- I " I shook my head at them, angry tears streaming down my face.

Gabriel looked pale. "Kelly. I can explain -

All I could do was stare in disbelief. "G-Gabriel?" My voice cracked in the middle and disappeared at the end. Kaylie and Gabriel just stared at me.

Then I fled.

I ran and grabbed my purse and left without closing the front door. Gabriel chased after my car but I drove off too quick. Maybe I should have hit him with my car.. No then I would be in jail for attempted murder.

The battle to stop the tears never even got to begin. I didn't try to stop the tears, I welcomed them. All these years.. all this time and now this. Why me?
